we were met by jeanette who showed us around the cottage which was great she also gave us a wonderful welcome hamper this cottage has everything that you could want and is in a wonderfully quite area findocty is a very picturesc harbour and very scenic all in all we really enjoyed our stay and would very much like to return one day
What a great feeling to return to a holiday property as beautiful as Harbours Reach. This was our second visit and it did not disappoint. It has everything you could wish for and Jeanette pulls out all the stops to make your stay a memorable one. There is a lovely beach literally a minute from the cottage and there are lots of pretty fishing villages to visit along the coast. We will be back one day and if you haven't been yet - what are you waiting for?
We have stayed at Harbours Reach on 3 occasions now and cannot speak too highly of it. Jeanette now treats us as friends, and not simply guests and as for the welcome pack which she provided, Well! this goes far beyond the call of duty and is much appreciated. Harbours Reach is a very warm, cosy little cottage which I could easily call my second home. Private parking to the rear is also an added bonus. Looking forward already to return there, the area is great for walking and exploring. Look out for the dolphins.
Hope to see you again soon.
Lovely relaxing, homely atmosphere in a well-appointed cosy cottage. Warm welcome from Jeanette was much appreciated and the Welcome Package was wonderful.Plenty to do in the surrounding areas if you feel up to it, if not there are lots of activities available in the cottage. Bijou by the sea, in Buckie, is great for coffee and cake and their Canadian breakfast is delicious.
We stayed for 4 days at the harbours reach, the property is beside the harbour, it was in a good location, it does face on to another property in a alley, but there is lovely shutters on the windows for privacy, everything was in the property that you could need, ie wifi cracking tv, plenty of board games dvds, ps3 wii, books and a kayak which we didn't use but would be great for adventures in the summer. The property was well laid out and in very good condition, with a lovely log fire. The kitchen was well equipped and the two bedrooms well planned out. The hamper and dram was a lovely personal touch. Off road parking a bonus too. Anyone would be delighted with it.
