We visited this place as we have some spare time. The place is quite big and there a some vegetables farm to show the children. Some cactus as well but not as much as Cactus farm.

We had spare time in then Cameron Highlands and this place was just up the road so we visited for about an hour. The flower garden was nice, other than that it is just like a farm. Their leaflet advertisers "Discover the advances in agro-technology", but there wasn't any information at all, unless we missed it. We also visited the 2 cafés, one seemed more like the staff cafeteria, the other was closed.

I wouldn't categorize MARDI as a "can't miss" destination, but if you have an extra hour or two in the highlands, it's definitely worth a visit. My wife loves taking pictures and she took quite a few here, so it is appealing to the eye. I agree with another reviewer that with a little more upkeep and a bit more information MARDI could offer a better all-around experience for visitors, but as it is it is still worth a walk around the grounds.

We visited this park in July 2013. Although it has some interesting plants and flowers to see, the park doesn’t seem to be well maintained. Toilets were not clean, litter in some parts of this park and quite some parts were closed, among which the orchid collection. A petty, because with some minor achievements this place could be much more attractive. Why have more background-information on signs near plants and flowers? Nevertheless, the personnel was very attentive.
