Great stay!

The hotel is located well, a short 5 minute walk with cases from the bus terminal.
The hotel has all the amenities you could ask for.
The staff are all very helpful and helped in booking tours and advising us on restaurants to go to. (Mayflower Chinese and jasmine cafe)
The rooms are well serviced and maintained we even had a nice balcony area with our room which was great.

The Price was high because of a Holiday, but I still did expect more quality. The room was nice with a window into the green garden. The water in the bathroom was only lukewarm with a little soap, no hair dryer and no room to put your cosmetic case. The place is clean. To enter the house you have to take your shoes off and walk with your socks to the room, unless you have your slippers ready. They provide boxes for your shoes outside. The receptionists are helpful - if you ask. You get coffee and tea all day for free. I love spending time to eat breakfast, so it deffinitly was not my place. Resumée: the place was clean, the garden was beautiful, but I would not stay there for longer.

The Arundina is a guesthouse very close to town centre, but still in a quiet location. Staff was friendly but reserved. The room that we had had a balcony, the house features a very nice garden and the Forrest behind the garden. There was a bit of a moist air in the room, but when opening the windows it was fine. The shower was okay. There is a "no shoes" policy in the house which was fine with us. Our main point of criticism was the breakfast. At check-in the receptionist mentioned that they offered only a basic breakfast. And indeed basic it was... two slices of toast and artificial jam. The fruit had run out already. The OJ was sugar water with an orange colour. Coffee was instant. IMHO it could be done a bit better without much additional costs... in all other lodgings we were during our stay in Malaysia, the breakfast was substantially better.

This hotel is located in a lovely place in Tanah Rata. The view from our room was stunning. It is like you are in the middle of the forest. The hotel is really lovely and warm. The staff was helpful and helped us to choose and plan a guided tour. The location is perfect, in a quiet place outside the city.

The breakfast was very light and there was not enough sitting places. The bathroom was a bit dark.

Room tip: Choose a room with the forest view

Stayed at Arundina for one night visit to the Cameron Highlands. The accommodation is in a well-kept guest house a short walk from the main high street in town. The room was very clean and comfortable, and overall it was a good visit. We had a deluxe room and it was quite compact in size but served it's purpose for one night. I'd say it's slightly overpriced, but it seems that anywhere semi-decent in this area is at least £35+ per night. Breakfast was simple (toast, cereal and hot drinks) and they allowed us to spend an hour at the guest house after we checked out while we waited for our bus. Overall, I'd recommend it if you want a nice place to stay in the Cameron Highlands and are happy to pay a little extra for it.

Upon checking in, I was pleased to note that the request I had submitted earlier to have the bed pushed against the corner had been obliged and attended to. This attention to my request was most appreciated.

Was pleased that there were Ikea baby chairs available for use in the dining area.

Would be happy to stay there again. Thank you.

Suggestions for improvement: Would appreciate it if breakfast could be available earlier. 8am is a bite late for those who wish to get an early start to the day. 7am, if not 6.30am, would be better.
