Driving from Thurso South on a dreich Sunday we thought we would never find anywhere to eat! We saw a sign on the main road for Waterlines and found ourselves driving down a steep road to the harbour which looked deserted. However, Waterlines was a lovely little cafe and as previously mentioned before the best crab rolls and lovely pleasant ladies to serve them.We managed to spend well over an hour upstairs at the very comprehensive exhibition on the history of the fishing industry in Lybster with lots of lovely contributions by local schoolchildren. There were also webcams on the birds nesting on nearby cliffs. This chance stop turned what looked like being a very poor day into a very enjoyable, and informative one,
