“Great location holiday park”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 July 2014

My husband and I stayed for a long weekend at the end of June on a Sun £15.00 holiday and both really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the caravan was comfortable and clean, plently of carparking spaces mostly right outside our unit, the gas fire actually worked which is very unusual in some parks. The location of the holiday park was brilliant, right by a quiet shingle beach ideal for long walks. It was also a short drive to Herne Bay and Whitstable also not far from Canterbury. We didn't use the entertainments facility so can't review them. Would recommend this park and will visit again in the future.

Thank you for your very honest review. There are some very pleasant walks round here if that is what you like. The Crab and Winkle walk from Whitstable to Canterbury is more challenging, however quite popular.
Hopefully we will see you back at the park soon perhaps for a longer period so that you can try out the whole community experience.

Look forward to seeing you soon.

We visited the last week in June and were very pleased with our stay. The park is right on the seashore but shielded by the sea wall. Beyond the wall there is a pebble beach which, despite the sunny weather, was practically deserted. Our caravan (gold class) was new, clean and well equipped. The bed was made up for our arrival with cotton rich bed linen and was quite comfortable. We were able to park right alongside the caravan. This has to be one of the quietest parks we have ever stayed at and there was never any noise, day or night. There is a small heated outdoor pool with sun loungers and also a club house serving drinks and reasonably priced meals. We did not experience the entertainment programme so cannot comment. The park is in a residential area but only a short drive into the small town of Whitstable and about twenty minutes from historic Canterbury. We would recommend this site for a quiet stay and would return.

Thank you for your very good review on the park. We find ourselves very well located for the general area and you can actually walk into the local towns or walk one way and catch the bus back. There is a very good bus service.

We will pass on your comments to the relevant staff as a little praise goes a long way.

Hope to see you back again soon.

Booked this online last minute for a 10berth 4 bed caravan, booking process was quick and easy, the accommodation was clean, well equipped and suited our needs well. Not a very good tv reception but that wasn't important to us. The kids loved the pool and great that they clear the pool every 45mins so that everyone gets a turn as the pool is fairly small. A well stocked reasonable priced shop on site too! This is the second time we have been here, would definately book again, although for gold plus I would say it was quite basic but suited our needs well.

Stayed here from the 19th to the 26th May, like a previous post we were looking for somewhere that was dog friendly and with plenty of nice walks, Seaview was the perfect place. We booked a bronze caravan and was a little apprehensive to what the standard would be, but it turned out to be fine for all our needs and was well equipped. Most of the beaches, although stoney were dog friendly all year round, apart from a couple at Herne Bay and Whitstable. Walked into Herne Bay and Whitstable, Westgate,Margate and Reculver were a short drive away. We used the clubhouse on the site most days and also ate there,as there are benches outside where you can sit with the dog.Found the prices in the camp shop to be reasonable and not as expensive as I thought it might be.There is a Sainsburys a short drive away, and a pub " the plough" near the site entrance.Overall a very enjoyable holiday and the dog loved it!

I've just returned from seaview and I have to say how impressed with it. I went with 3 children. I was booked into a bronze caravan and must confess that I didn't expect too much however I was hugely impressed! The van was spotless, in fact the whole site is very clean. The caravan was also much bigger than I expected and had everything you might need for cooking with. I had to hire bed linen when I got there and that was a bargain at £5 for the 4 nights we were there. The linen was delivered to my door and was very clean too! The staff are all really friendly and my 8 year old son had an absolutely brilliant time. Be warned though your children will pester you relentlessly for money for the arcade that's there. Sadly the weather was rubbish for the whole 5 days so we didn't get to explore as much as I would've liked, although that didnt stop the kiuds going in the outdoor pool which was really warm! But overall I would rate seaview very highly and would come again and am hoping to in the next year or so.

We stayed a few weeks ago and the place is very easy to find even when coming by train. Staff were very friendly and it was nice and quiet which was lovely. We didn't really use the facilities and did not bring our swim suits as the information we received said the pool was not open until the end of May so we were surprised to find it open whilst we were there. It looked nice and clean though.

There is easy access onto the beach and we walked into Herne Bay a couple of times. The shop opening times were a little confusing though as they were not the same each day. Maybe providing these times in the welcome pack would be helpful.

The Caravan was clean and tidy when we arrived and suited our needs well as we were out every day, the bed was a little hard but that's just our preference. The heater in the living room area was not working but they had provided us with a small heater that we could move from room to room.

The only thing that made us slightly uncomfortable was that we appeared to have a lot of privately owned caravans around us and on the Friday they took over the area quite a bit and someone's grandchildren were playing with a ball that kept hitting out caravan which became quite annoying. I could only suggest that the caravans solely used by their owners were in a different part of the site than the rented ones.

On the whole though a very lovely place to stay and very well equipped for children of all ages, even our 2yr old!

We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us at Seaview, maybe next time you could try our clubhouse as we have different entertainment on including themed evenings and bingo. I am sorry you didn't bring your swimming gear with you on this occasion as the pool is open throughout the season and is heated.

We look forward to seeing you in the near future.

Best Regards
