Nice hotel 20 min from downtown Quebec. Very nice location with river on site and beautiful forest. They have a super nice spa, indian museum and indian camp simulation that you can visit.
Room was big, with comfortable bed and nice view.
Free parking and free wifi in room!!!!!!!

Great option to stay in quebec in a more reasonable budget that downtown hotels.

sadly, we spent only 2 days at this hotel ... I could easily have done a wk ...

restaurant, a 5* with a fine wine selection ... and professional service staff ...

the location is serene, with ambience and space ... a time to relax and reflect ...

very close to Quebec centro ... an easy drive ...

additionally, several close hi-Q restaurants as other options, with a nearby Metro for daily snacking supplies ...

Room Tip: for 20$, a cheap upgrade gets you a very, nice, larger room ...

Without exaggeration, our family felt honored to be with the Huron-Wendat people during our stay in Wendake. Theirs is an amazing story of oppression, struggle, and more recently victory and resurgence. This hotel is surely one of their Crown Jewels and exactly the type of cultural experience we wanted for our young daughters to help them appreciate the fact that world is more than Disney princesses and/or Justin Bieber.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights. Great location so you can easily walk to stores, restaurants, trails. The personnel was very friendly and courteous. We had a room with a door which opened to outside which made it convenient to go outside with our golden retriever. The room was quite large and the bathroom was huge. Fridge in room. We did not hear neighbours from upper floors or beside us. Visited museum and long house which was part of the price for hotel guests.

Room Tip: All rooms face water. We had a wendat room which was big. Fridge in room. Air cond worked well too...

This has to be one of the best hotel experiences I have had. From the reception through to the bedrooms, the bar, the restaurant it's beautifully designed and appointed, spotlessly clean, and has a calm, relaxing ambience. All bedrooms face the river with great views to the rushing water below. We had room 109 with excellent ensuite facilities, great free strong wifi (throughout the hotel and restaurant) and coffee and tea making facilities. Outside there are trails through the grounds and across the river. Everything is perfect. I can't see how this place could improve. You must stay here if you are visiting Quebec.

Room Tip: All rooms face the river. We had room 109, which was quiet and perfect for us.

My wife and I came to this hotel with a package after staying at the Ice Hotel. We really enjoyed it. The lobby area in particular is very relaxing with the wood fire burning in the middle and the fur covered comfy chairs. The wooden building looks appealing, it is just a great place to have some quiet with nice nature around. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They have a great restaurant which is a highlight if you go for dinner. The hotel has some interesting items on display and the museum is a good way to while away half an hour or so too.

Kwe Gary,

We are very happy to know that you and your wife had a pleasant stay at our hotel.
(And it's always relaxing to sit by a warm fire, especially after spending a night in a hotel made of ice and snow!)

Reviewed 18 February 2014 via mobile

My boyfriend decided to book a last minute trip for our anniversary on February 11, 2014. It was a hotel de glace and hotel musee combo pack. We drove from Ottawa to Quebec City for our "special" night. When we arrived it had turned out that the agency we ordered it through booked us for March not February. (The French English was misunderstood?) It was no fault of hotel musee. They quickly found us a room and called the hotel de glacé and got us a room for the next night. There was no available rooms, so they up graded us to a better room which was awesome! The girls where super friendly and went above and beyond what was expected! The dinner was nice. We opted for six course meal with wine pairing. It was good. Out of six of the courses I enjoyed three. The raw stergon was not for me and the venison was blue rare. But just because i didnt like doesn't mean someone else would not. The waiter was friendly and spoke good English. As some of the other guest have mentioned the waiter insisted that the gratuity was not included on the up graded wine pairing from the three course meal that was part of the package. At this point we had left a cash tip at the table and not on my credit card bill. Which I could only assume he had thought we hadn't tipped. The following day we decided to have a massage at the spa. We were welcomed with smiling faces. We had an hour long relaxation massage, which was tasteful and relaxing. It was a great value and felt awesome! I wish we remembered everyone's names. We were just relieved that there was room for us and didn't have to make the trek back to Ottawa. But everyone was superb! Oh yes, the museum was fun to explore and the long horn was cool to see!
