Twelve of us spent a very enjoyable morning on the Lady-Florence to celebrate a friends birthday, we were the only group on the boat and were greeted by the crew and helped aboard. We received a welcoming drink and short helpful talk by the captain. Thou the boat is small there was ample room for all us to have a walk around(or sit in the warm) and watch beautiful local country side and wild life go by while we waited for breakfasts to be cooked. We didn't have very good weather as it was very cold but we came preprepared and were rapped up well.
The food was served in the main cabin and was well presented and very enjoyable, Grapefruit to start followed by (Egg Sausage Bacon Tomatoes Potatoes) and plenty of tea and coffee and toast my sort of breakfast.
While on board the captain gave a running commentary on points of interest and pulled in as close as possible to wild life without spooking them.
The trip was about 3 hours and near the end we had apple pie and muffins with tea or coffee out-side on deck. Everyone enjoyed it and it made a nice change to a Sunday morning
