We stayed over for one night, the hotel is very grand and in an exceptional setting, we used the hotels leisure facilities pool, sauna and steam room, which were cosy but very good. We had a twin room on the ground floor, which was conveniently a few steps away from the pool area and reception. The only downside to it was that there was a little bit of noise with people coming back in from their nights out. The room itself was really lovely, lovely views of the lake and gardens and a very nice bathroom. The room I felt was very warm, but we adjusted to that, although we didn't have hot water on the night time..... we managed with luke warm, I did report it, and to be fair they was apologetic, but I do feel that that this is an area that they need to look into........ We didn't stay for an evening meal, we went to the local pub, a ten min walk away, and had a meal there and watched the band instead. The breakfast was really nice and apart from a couple of things, overall we enjoyed our stay.
