Brilliant location, in the hear of Ao Nang, not that you'll need to go anywhere else. Food was excellent, as was the service and food. We stayed in the top floor family room, with the mezzanine level. it was kept clean, exceptionally roomy and all the amenities you'd ever need. Kevin, who owns the place as well as its sister pub, paddy's, was extremely friendly and happy to help at all times. After mentioning we wanted to do a Scuba diving course he got his brother Peter, a qualified scuba instructor, to take us out and do the course. Can't ask for better service than that.

the Hotel is OK and the beauty of those beaches IS still stunning. But the level of noise-pollution, provided by an endless chain of undampened longtail boat-motors, is substantial. As long as there is no schedule (or mufflers provided for the motors) and each tourist goes individually and numbers of visitors are ever increasing, this problem will continue to worsen and spoil the beauty of these places.

My Family loves this Mini Hotel, Freindly owners and Staff. Probably some of the Best Thai food in the village, as well as great western food, ie the back packer breakfast and not to mention Sunday dinners, with traditional irish/english fare. If you like irish pubs the Irish Rover has it all even official Guiness on tap. Cant say enough about this place..... The rooms are fair priced and clean, no frills but clean and quiet..

This place would be perfect for a couple with kids. We went as two couples and had to trade off nights between the main room and the twin beds. Only the main room had AC but the heat was never really a problem after the first night. Plus, the pub downstairs is a great place to have some pints... from what I remember. One draw back was the mystery hole of smell in the bathroom but after a trip up to the local market to buy some bleach the problem was solved. This is a perfect place for those of you who don't like the hotel scene. Plus, you can't beat the price. We did stay in the two room suite and can not say anything about the other two rooms. You can't beat the location either. Good times.
