The Green View Village Resort is a beautiful paradise in a middle of Ao Nang city. We have stayed at the hotel for 10 nights and we have a bit of mixed feelings. The room smelled of dump first when we arrived but after couple of days we got used to it and air-con sorted a bit of the problem. Room was always cleaned and the housekeeping girl she was great. The pool was lovely and the view is a winner. The public toilets and shower by the pool were dirty and almost a whole staff definitely need a better manager. They are lazy and not approaching at all. Only one girl in reception and one pregnant girl in a kitchen were nice and polite. Breakfast was good although not always warm we really enjoyed the flavour. They have good islands tours and good prices and shuttle tuk-tuk to the beach for free. I would go back to the resort only for the view and the pool....

Staff are extremely helpful, It is situated in the quiet area of Krabi, if you are looking for peace of mind, or looking for a cosy base this is perfect. Great value for money, I spent most of the day out and about, so this was perfect to return to and plan the next day and have a relaxing night.

This hotel totally blew away my expectations. It looks exactly like it does in the pictures- it's totally beautiful as the karsts are in the background and the pools are great. When we arrived very early, they let us have one room (we booked two) to sleep in after our long flight. This was stunning- the balcony looked out over the karst. It was big, beds were comfortable, and it was very clean.
The staff were really happy to arrange things like a trip to the Krabi Night Market and Thai massages. The restaurant was also great for lunches, providing toasted sandwiches as well as Thai food.
It's a bit far from the beach, but walkable in about 15 minutes and there's also a bus which takes you there every half hour which is free.
Overall, for what we paid, this hotel was just brilliant. I would definitely return.

the pictures show the best aspects of the hotel. It does have a nice large swimming pool (full of lots of kids) in the centre, and a smaller quieter pool, these are the main positives. When we checked in we were 'upgraded' to a room that was nothing like what we booked. It was dark, very old and smelled. The bathroom had pink furnishings and the windows had weird covers over them that made it feel like a prison, along with an old, box of a tv that was fuzzy. It was a lodge that was in the back in the middle of nowhere. We went to reception and asked to be put in our original room, so they moved us into a hotel building. We could see why they didn't put us in that room originally. The room smelled awful of damp mould, was dark and also the toilet didn't flush. We called reception who fixed the toilet quite quickly. we decided the put up with this room. Pretty sure the room had bed bugs as i was covered in bites (even when sleeping almost fully clothed and covered in bug repellent) and it caused my arms and legs to swell up. We also paid around £40 per night which was wayyy too expensive.

Room Tip: a room in a different hotel
