Stayed here for 3 nites and I can say that it was a good place to spend your days (and nights) in Krabi. It is not too far from Aonang so you can enjoy a peaceful sleep at night unlike if you are staying in the town itself. To get to town, you can rent a scooter (esp if you're a couple) for 150bath per day (can get it at the hotel itself although there are lots if stalls renting scooter outside about the same price per day) and trust me, it's worth it because you can get further especially if you're up for a scenic ride along the coastal line.
Every night there are little food stalls opened and food is great. It's just walking distance from this hotel (at the main road) and please try the banana pancake at Yaminlah stall, it's excellent!
I mentioned the word 'despite' in my title and here's why. When we were there, there was some renovation going on for a building in front of the hotel (might have finished by now) so it was a bit noisy during day time but then, you might be out and about anyway. Wifi only at lobby and and the wifi reception was strangely better at night. And lastly, the smell of sewer or drainage was strong at the lobby but fortunately, it stopped there. You wont smell it when you're at your room, at least mine doesnt.
Overall, we would come and stay here again. Krabi has been good to us and would definitely visit it again, even if it's just for the yummylicious pancake.

Decent location. Lovely people working there.

For the price we paid, however --
We paid about the same amount as other places around Thailand that were much cleaner and in better shape. This was somewhat hostel-y -- not as expected or advertised.
Free internet only in lobby, and it was very slow when it did work.
Damp smell in rooms that wasn't particularly pleasant.

I stayed here two nights in Dec. This is the third hotel I hv stayed in in this area. Overall it was ok but was quite pricey during xmas. The room was ok clean, services was quite attentive. Breakfast was very average. For such price with no free in-room wi-fi and lack of English TV channels was a bad deal. Many customers had to hang out in the lobby to use the free wi-fi.

Stayed in a superior room. Was clean, bed was comfy although mattress slightly old, typical american style buffet breakfast, lack of free internet in rooms a bit annoying (30 baht for a half hour, or free at reception). Perhaps a little overpriced compared to other places we have stayed recently

My second time at this accommodation. The convenient location is just a 7 min walk from the beach and the long-tail boat pick-up point. With convenience stores and restaurants a stone's throw away from the property, I was never in need of anything that I couldn't pick up from around the corner. The breakfast spread was pretty good with a mix of Thai and Western cuisine. Guests can log on to free WiFi in the lobby. The rooms are lovely for the price it came at and the bed was very comfortable. I had really good sleep!
