We really enjoyed our stay here, the room was huge and cleaned everyday. When we first arrived the man behind the desk seemed a but miserable but the lady who was behind the desk was really helpful and we booked the night market with them and also our ferry to phi phi. The location is great in my opinion, 10 minutes from the beach and on the way there are plenty of restaurants and shops to keep you occupied on the way down. We asked for a mountain view room, you could still hear the mosque but didn't really wake us up in the middle of the night. They provide free beach mat which is great. Would recommend.

Room Tip: Choose a mountain view room away from the mosque

Rude staff, noisy at night as window is facing main road. Plenty of better options available in Au Nang. Rooms aren't as a cheap as they should be for what you get. The cleanliness of the room is average but nothing special, shower temperature and pressure were shocking and not what you expect when paying well over a thousand baht a night. There is a pool with a good view of the surrounding mountains and palm trees but, this definitely does make up for the hotels countless flaws. The hotels only other positive would be its breakfast service, but honestly, the extremely limited and bland catering that is available is hardly worth getting out of bed for. There are plenty of alternative, cheaper hostels and premium resorts that are all closer to the beach.

Great budget hotel in Ao Nang Krabi Thailand, friendly staff, comfortable rooms, close to everything and also beaches. There is a great outdoor family run restaurant right downstairs adjacent to the hotel. Food is real cheap and tasty, they cook right in front of you. A bar opens at nights also adjacent to the hotel. Can't complain about the surroundings, staff is ready to clean before you even think about leaving your room, but do remember to put your privacy sign.

Room Tip: It's best if you get a room in back away from the traffic side, you will see the mountains in th...

We stayed here at the beginning of an almost 3 week holiday organized by Andaman Sky, which took in several island resorts plus hotels in a few busier places like Ao Nang. We had an amazing holiday, felt we got to see if not the best the region has to offer then at least the best we could afford. The Haleeva hotel is not right next to the beach, it’s about 800 metres away, but for us this was no problem. We had heard that the mosque could be a disturbance when people were praying, but this wasn’t a problem, at least not for us as we had a mountain view room.

The mountain view rooms, while the same as the city view rooms inside, are much better, as you get a good view and as they are more peaceful. We got one (our travel agent requested one for us) and were very happy with it. The Haleeva hotel has a peasant if rather small pool from which you get good mountain views. When we arrived we got welcoming drinks and smiles plus a map and tips to visit. The resort organized an enjoyable trip to the Krabi Walking Street market for us.

This is basically a great place to choose, as you get excellent value for money.

Stayed for 1 night, and fine for a budget stopover.

The rooms are simple but very clean with a basic bathroom that has what you need - just don't expect a power shower. Linen was in excellent condition, and no complaints about the bed. Had a room at the back (307) and slept very well - no noise.

About a 15 minute walk to the beach, with lots of reasonable restaurants within 5 minutes so all in all not a bad choice.

Problems -- I ordered a taxi to bring me from the airport and it didnt arrive, when I rang the hotel they said that reception were not available and I should call back later, when I explained I was waiting for a taxi I had ordered they weren't helpful. Poor service, but I just got a private taxi from the airport which was the same price. However, if it had been very late/early or if no taxi was available this could have been a complete farce - if the rooms weren't so clean it would have been a rating of 2.

The safety box didnt work either, but they resolved he problem pretty quickly with some new batteries.

I'd stay again for a simple budget overnight.

We were in Ao Nang for just a night as we had an early flight and needed to be somewhere not too far from the airport. On arrival, we asked if they would book us an airport taxi, they said yes, we gave them the time (5:00am) and said OK. We went out for the evening, came back around 11pm and double checked - Yes, confirmed, they said.

We went downstairs at 5:00am sharp, no taxi. Waited a few minutes and woke up the sleeping night manager and explained. We watched him fussing around with bits of paper for about 5 minutes and then I asked (patience starting to wear thin and panic setting in), are you going to call a taxi? He made a phone call (or possibly even pretended to make a phone call) and said, 'No taxi.' He was utterly unapologetic and unbothered by this. He was so thoroughly unhelpful that we took our chances and went combing the streets. Eventually we ducked into another hotel and the helpful manager there did manage to locate a taxi for us (and even that took another half an hour). We made our flight.

Also, this place is miles from the beach.

This hotel was booked for me thru an agency for one night. They described it as the best budget hotel in town. It's okay if you don't spend much time there and it's a step up from a backpackers place. My room was big and clean but on the 4th floor with no elevator. There were 2 TV channels both Thai. The room looked out onto a nice verdant hill with the small hotel pool. I think the tiles are green because the water had an unnaturally green color, not inviting. The walls are very thin, I was woken up a couple times at night by people coming back to their rooms. They didn't seem obnoxious. I think the sound just carries very well. There is free wifi in the room. Breakfast was plain. There are rooms right next to the breakfast area and I imagine those walls are thin as well so even though you're steps away from the pool, avoid these rooms if you're a light sleeper as breakfast starts at 6:30am. The main beach and shops/restaurants is a kilometer away. I walked there and grabbed a Tuktuk back for 40 baht. The first 3 tuktuks I asked wanted from 100-300 baht so be aware that it should cost 40. All in all, without knowing how the other hotels compare, I'd say this hotel is okay for a short stay.
