“Average meal”
Reviewed 30 June 2014

We ordered a starter of cray fish, and the main courses were tiger prawns and a red snapper. The starter was good but the other courses were very average and not particularly good value for money. I don't believe that locals eat here but tourists. Not a place I would recommend.

“Shocked by good reviews - terrible”
Reviewed 25 June 2014 via mobile

We went as a group of 10. I think only one person enjoyed their meal, who said it was "okay" but nothing special. Everyone else hated it.
The taxi cost 50 baht per person each way from Ao Nang.
We thought we would try it based on the great reviews.
The squid was cold and rubbery.
The Soft shell crab was deep fried and awful.
One person asked for their meal to be mild and it was so hot that it was inedible.
The meals came out sporadically.
Some people
Didn't get what they had ordered - perhaps due to language barriers.
A couple of the bills were incorrect.
It's a fairly shabby looking place and not clean looking. No one could understand the high rating of this place.
The wifi also didn't work.
We went to Lae Lay grill which was so much better.

“Probably one of the best seafood restaurants in the area.”
Reviewed 11 June 2014

The extensive menu here made it hard to choose from as there were so many delicious dishes,
We opted for the soft shell crabs in garlic and pepper, prawns in tamarind sauce, crispy garlic pork.tiger prawns with chilli and lemon sauce and morning glory. All were amazing authentic Thai dishes and we were pleasantly surprised when the bill arrived. It was very popular and was well worth the 100baht tuk tuk ride from Aonang. Highly recommended.

“Great choice for seafood”
Reviewed 4 June 2014

Loved this restaurant, price is reasonable and the food is excellent. Not a big variety of seafood though. Lots of local Thai come here for dining. A bit away from Ao Nang but tuk tuk cost 100THB per way quite ok. Recommended.

“Cheap authentic thai food”
Reviewed 2 June 2014 via mobile

Food served at many eateries and restaurants at ao nang are not authentic are expensive. This is the only restaurant which i found very authentic and prices are also very reasonable. For eg, i ordered morning glory for only 90baht here while i paid 150baht at another local eatery near my hotel. I also ordered fish and tiger prawns and they were very fresh! Pls check out the prices before ordering seafood as it's not written on the menu. Definitely worth visiting if you like authentic thai food!
