Very good place, English women speakes probably married to thai. With cute children, monkey no ticket but price fish food and you will be given a fish food.
But low or may be non mantainance since months, care lessness making it less attractive. Though it is natural but poor mantainance may be reason people not going there now a days.
There are no cat fish but tilapia of different sizes, some pacu,Koi,and very less amount of cat fish.
Natural looks, but just need proper care and mantainance.

“Great place to visit”
Reviewed 31 July 2014

Not far at all from Ao Nang beach. They have the cutest monkey that you can play with and she loves Gatorade. You need to go just to play with it - bring some fruit for it. Also a sheep and a pig and fish. You can swim there - the water is clear - but we didn't. Very friendly people there and only 50 baht

“See for yourself... lovely place to visit.”
Reviewed 15 July 2014

Informative and fun feeding the fish. The man who owns this has worked very hard and built it all himself. Beautiful landscaped gardens. There is information about the animals and plants. I was interested to see a homemade poster about rubbish and how long it takes to degrade. He didn't ask for nearly enough entry fee. People are slating this place for being cruel. I expected to see the aligator squashed in a concrete box. Not true. There are a few turtles that could do with some extra room. Although none of this is 'cruel' People who don't know Thais well, or fail to ask questions, probably don't realise the aligators were probably rescued. As was the free range monkey who was parentless before and being minded by a free range sheep. The free range pig and ducks seemed quite happy too. I have seen animals treated far far worse than any of this in zoos and petting farms in England. So go here with an open mind. He charged so little for such a wonderful place with a lot of hard work and love gone in so I gave a donation towadrs the upkeep and the injections the baby money will need.

“Worth a look”
Reviewed 24 May 2014 via mobile

Gee some people get over emotional on here..my wife and I visited the catfish farm and found it worthwhile, not as bad as some are making out in their reviews.
An interesting mix of sights loved the massive catfish which you can feed, the baby monkey the owner was nursing on our arrival was very cute. Sure the place is "different" but its not as bad as some make out, remember you are in Asia! The lady owner and her children were lovely and for 50 baht admission fee great value.
