“Lovely !!”
Reviewed 10 December 2013

We spent a week here at the beginning of November 2013 on our first visit to Thailand. From our arrival till we departed we had wonderful service from the manager Wor. She greeted us with a bottle of cold water ( which we quickly replaced it with beer ! ) and then showed us to our apartment which was a ground floor with balacony leading to pool. Even though we requested a first floor we did not complain as this was better !
Good points - small enough not to crowd the small pool.,beautifully clean,Hugh shower, outside balcony fan ( clever idea ),sunloungers around the pool, fanatstic and free wi-fi.
Minor negative points - information brochure in each apartment( so you know how things work )would be a good idea , poor TV reception,no coffee pot ( we are caffene junkies ! )
Highly recommended

ps There is a small family restaurant just 100 yards away ( cant remember the name ) and the food was fab ! Try the steamed sea bass with herbs ........... um um !

Room Tip: Ground floor as thee is no lift

We stayed at Krabi Apartment Hotel for 8 nights in november 2013. We decided to stay here due to comments of previous customers, and we are so thankful that we did. The apartment itself was clean, modern and we set out. The seperate bedroom and bathroom are both a great idea. The balcony was lovely place to enjoy the surrounding view of the limestone mountains and to relax with a cool drink. While we were there the orchids on the balcony were in flower and they were quite beautiful.
The best thing about staying here was the manager, Wor. She was so helpful. She was full of useful information and booked our transfers to and from the airport and a tour for us. Her English is very good.
We felt very safe staying here as there is even a night time security man to greet you upon evening return.
Although the hotel is not in the heart of ao nang, this is a positive in our opinion and it is peaceful and quite.
The drink fridge in reception is very cheap and convient, especially for a poolside beer.

We enjoyed out stay so much that we can't wait to go back!

Nice stay at Krabi Apartment. Unfortunately we had a room at ground floor so no views but a pool in front of us (which was used at 7.15 AM...so no late sleep for us :() Nice space, livingroom, kitchen, bathroom and seperate bedroom with small double bed.
We had a rentalcar so we could go where ever we wanted to go. Otherwise a scooter will be fine while a trip to the beach or nearby area's is a bit to far. A good meal is available within a short walk. Take a right turn at mainstreet, walk about 300 mtr and under a blue cover you'll find some plastic chairs/tables, two kitchens and great food!

My husband and I stayed here for about a week. The manager, Wor, is amazing. She is very helpful and knows a lot about not only Krabi, but about different islands around Thailand. She set up two tours for us which were phenomenal. We had a second story room which was great. All rooms have a view of the pool, which is small, but really clean and refreshing. The bed is in a separate room than the living room, which was good for us because my husband likes to stay up late. The bathroom actually has hot showers, which was amazing to feel clean after a long day touring. The whole room was very clean and it even has a little kitchenette, which comes with a small stove, hot water boiler, toaster, and a few dishes. Just a 3 minute walk to the nearest 7-11 where we bought eggs and toast and water and the such to make ourselves breakfast and some lunches. We also recommend renting a scooter from Wor, who calls a nearby guy and drives a scooter to you. It is only about 250 baht per day, but since the hotel is a little out from the main strip, it's nice to have and well worth the money. To walk to the main strip, where the beach is and all the shops, it only literally takes 15-20 min. We liked staying outside of the main area, much quieter and peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay here and we will definitely stay again.

Room Tip: Second and third floors are nice and away from the pool, quieter.

Don't be put off by the low price of krabi apartments. Just because they're cheap doesn't mean they are nasty! Although set a short tuk tuk ride from the beach these apartments have shops within walking distance. They are quite big apartments, very clean with a big balcony. They are set near a mountain so views are good. The rooms have their own safety deposit box which is always a bonus. The staff, one check in and a night security guard are very friendly and will call a tuk tuk for you to take you to beach road. I would definitely recommend these apartments as would my girlfriend (who is very fussy!)

We (husband, one year old and I) stayed here for four nights after reading reviews from other travellers. This is a great place to stay. The apartments are spacious -- living room, kitchenette, super comfy bed, and a clean, big bathroom. I cannot imagine a place like this in my own country for the rate offered by Krabi Apartment Hotel. It is in a very quiet neighbourhood, and we really enjoyed that tranquility. Just a five minute walk to the main road, a 7-11, a grocery store and several Halal cafes and stalls with reasonably priced and tasty meals. To get to Ao Nang beach, its best to get a tuk tuk arranged by the hotel, or you could walk, but it would take about 20 minutes. We walked back to the Hotel one afternoon, with our baby, and it took us about 30 minutes, but we enjoyed it. The pool is not very large, but good enough to have a dip in, and safe enough for your kids to enjoy if you are travelling with children. It rained quite a bit during our holiday, but we felt so comfortable relaxing in the living room and on the balcony. Very cozy.

The photos of the property as advertised by the Hotel are as they are. This is truly a gem of a place, and we would recommend this to families, couples and even honeymooners.

A tip: Arrange for the Hotel to pick you up at the airport. Its worth it.

Room Tip: If you have an active toddler, you may want to ask for one of the 2 rooms on the ground floor. Other...

we stayed for 2 nights while exploring the area. It was a fantastic stay. The apartments are large, well maintained, spacious, tastefully furnished, and in a really nice, residential, quiet neighbourhood. We slept peacefully in the soft cozy beds, and appreciated the kitchenette, spacious and sunny bathroom, as well as the comfy couch: very welcoming after a long day of exploring! The management is friendly, welcoming, and on-the-ball. The pool , though not huge, is fantastic in the hot Thai sun. Felt like home and we didn't want to leave!
