This isn’t the Sheraton but what it does it does well. The rooms are basic but clean, the aircon works just fine, you have a safe and a fridge and the communal balcony is great place to chill out. Make sure you wear insect repellent if you sit out in the evening though.

Although we didn’t use the pool it was always spotless and the public areas were very well maintained.

The staff were absolutely lovely, very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was OK, nothing exceptional. We ate in the restaurant once and it was pretty good, the setting helps.

The location is very central, very handy for catching a long tail boat, a tuk tuk (40baht within Ao Nang) or a communal taxi (60 baht each way to Krabi) , down side being the noise but to be honest it didn’t bother us. If you go to Krabi town for the night Markets don’t leave it too late to get the Communal Taxi back. Although we got to the bus stop around 9:30pm they refused to take us back to Ao Nang and ended up paying 400 baht for a taxi.

Just across the road you have a choice of bars, the best of which we though was the Boogey Bar which had live music every night (far enough away not to cause a noise problem).

Room Tip: If you intend using the pool ask for a ground floor room.

We enjoyed our stay at the Phra Nang Inn although the room we had did not live up to our expectation. We soon discovered it was more than adequate, very comfortable and opening directly onto the beautiful pool. Location, right on the beach was great with the restaurant overlooking the sea. Breakfasts were very good and staff very friendly. Our only complaint was that smoking was allowed in the restaurant and this spoiled our breakfasts on a couple of occasions. It would be a good idea to allow smoking just at one end of the area then guests could at least choose to avoid smokers as much as possible

We stayed at the inn for 13 nights, first impressions very polite staff at our welcoming. we were then shown the room on the spa wing ( best rooms we were told ) the room itself was spotless clean but it required modernisation, it sure wasn't modern like we believed it was going to be. The Inn is definitely past its best but in a prime location. The breakfast was average compared to what we had experienced in other Thai hotels we stayed in, the staff would wait until food ran out at the buffet before telling the chef, so you would have to wait 15 mins for beans, bacon, or coffee.
The only other issue we had and reported was the music at night in the bar it was very nice but they cranked up romantic music until midnight. I believe this music should be enjoyed at lower volumes but not at this level as there were families with young kids staying here. We reported this and were offered another room.We stayed where we were and they turned down the volume a touch. We would not have stayed here for 13 nights if this hadn't been per booked

Check in process - smooth
Receptionist - friendly
Rooms - stuffy and a bit small, toilet always clogs and smells very bad. Got a lot of mosquitoes.
Breakfast - not much and serve pork which is not suitable for muslims guest. Better try to find other resort that not serve pork.
Swimming pool - average
Check out - OK

Room Tip: Maybe can choose upper level to avoid small room and don't choose the one at the front side because of bad view.

Couldn't have asked for me for the price we paid. The location was perfect for us and the staff was friendly. The rooms themselves were nothing extraordinary, but we didn't spend much time there. I can tell you the room we had was clean and pest free! At night we could hear the music from the adjacent bar until about midnight, but other than it was quiet. Breakfast was included in our rate, so we were happy with the layout. They provided us A/C private transportation to the Tiger Cave and Airport at a very reasonable price (800 baht). I would definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: For some reason they only allow 2 people per room (?), so pay attention when booking.
