Staff very friendly and helpful, rooms cleaned everyday location brilliant ,breakfast good we stayed here for 7 nights in feb 2014 ,was a bit nervous reading reviews, but what i would say is you have to be realistic we paid 680 pounds for two rooms (4adults)for 7 nights ,that works out at about 48 pounds a night per room you try and get that in the uk. the location about 300 metres to the beach not really noisy ,nice pool free towels ,security box at reception ,wifi and three pcs you can use foc ,we had a great time
So reviewers be realistic you are in thailand also visit yaya at the dream bar great atmosphere would stay there again

This was our second stay at Krabi Heritage. Last time was in 2008 and actually nothing was changed. This wasn't compliment...
The hotel has some old features like balconies and bathrooms. Commonly this hotel is good but if you like to have luxorious stay this isn't the place.
Pool area is small
Rooms near sc. Girl street are noisy.
Breakfast is ok.
Staff is nice.
Location is perfect.
Rooms are average nice & clean.
If you stay here take room near swimming pool or with mountain view.

If I come to Ao Nang I migh consider some other hotel...

Location was great, just a few minutes walk up to the beach. Loads of food, massage places that we could walk to at night, after a day of activities. Quats cafe, which serves really good hot chocolate and coffee, is just downstairs.

Room was pretty spacious, but really dated and in need of re-decorating. We stayed on the upper floors, so had no issues with noise at night.

Breakfast was average, and as everyone as commented, staff were really unfriendly and not attentive. Not the usual Thai smiles - thumbs down for that!

Would I stay here again? Don't think so, there are many other hotels/ resorts along the stretch which are on the same price scale, which I would rather try on my next stay in Krabi.

I have visited the Krabi heritage hotel in Aunang 4 times now and wasn't going to review it again but after reading the recent reviews from people saying the hotel is never cleaned , and the staff are very ignorant I do not agree with that. The rooms was cleaned everyday and the beds and towels changed everyday , the staff was very pleasant and always remember us staying there other years .

Room Tip: We always stay on the 4th floor at the pool end of the hotel much quieter

Hotel seemed ok, room was alright, although not much room for clothes, not much hanging space, the balcony was tiny, the view was poor. Turned out to be very noisy till early hours, after a couple of days, I knew it was not the place for me, it was more for backpackers who were only staying a couple of nights and then moving on. I decided that I wanted to move somewhere else so that is what we did.

I am afraid that I cannot give more than 1 star. The price is maybe slightly lower than other 3-star hotels, but the hotel is in a poor condition.
The first room we got (Superios) was smelling really bad. First we thought it was from the toilet, but later we found out that it was the air con which was extremely dirty (and hence started smelling). So actually hazardous to stay in that room.
We tried for 4 hours during the night to get another room - or to be transferred to other hotel - no luck.So we ended up sleeping in a super-hot room with no Air Con, and we got only 2 hours sleep.
The staff was quite ignorant - the only thing they did was to send a man with a spray-can that made everything even worse (I am not sure what was in that spray-can but it made me vomit)
Later the same night, a rat came to our balcony (on 2nd floor). So no chance to even open the door to exchange the air in the room
Yes, the hotel still looks good on the photos - but those are not showing the real status of this hotel...
So certainly not a good experience, even though that they moved us to another room the day after
Yes, location is fine, but I have no intention of trying their pool since I now know how they do not clean anything in this hotel

Room Tip: Check the room and air con before accepting the room
