Nice clean place to stay at reasonable price and staff are very friendly, down side is the distance from the main town area but easily walkable in 15-20 minutes and a cheap tuk-tuk ride back up the hill. Pool had too much chlorine for me.

A very friendly and clean no frills hotel. Good value for money. Rooms are spacious, clean and tastefully decorated The pool was a real hit with the kids, small but just the right size for them. Hotel doesn't provide breakfast but lots of cafés and restaurants close by. It's a long walk from the ao nang beach but that had it's benefits as the area was quieter and slightly less touristy. Staff are very helpful and accommodating. For example, we had an evening train to catch but checked out earlier in the day, they still lent us towels to use during the day and kept out luggage for us. If you are after a five star hotel, this isn't for you. However, if you are content with something basic but comfortable and clean, then the Ao Nang Mitti resort is right up your street .

Very friendly staffs. Compact hotel with small but adequate pool facing the very small reception. Despite this, rooms are spacious. A little too far from the main Aonang area and beach, need a 20-30 mins walk but a 5 min tuk tuk taxi ride. Weak wifi in rooms and very weak water pressure in the showers but I'm not sure about the other rooms. My room was 304.

Out of all the places we’ve stayed in Thailand so far, this has been one of our favourites. We booked a room here on the second floor for ฿800/night ($25/night, or $12.50 each). The hotel itself is about 15 minutes from the beach by walking, or 2 minutes by motorbike. It’s located on a quiet side street that overlooks the mountains, no beach view but it’s still pretty nice.

The first thing we noticed was how impeccably clean the resort was. The walls, floors and decorations are mainly white, with a pool and patio right outside of reception when you enter. You’re required to take your shoes off before entering the property, which was weird at first but made for pristine clean floors so we were cool with it. This is also the first hotel that offered security cameras, a small touch but it made us feel that much safer.

The hotel staff was incredibly nice and answered our questions with big, welcoming smiles. They made sure we were all set up comfortably and even offered to extend our stay for a good price if we were inclined. One time when we were swimming, the receptionist introduced us to her 2 year old son who came by to visit. It was a great family vibe which was exactly what was needed after coming from a place like Phuket.

The rooms themselves were basic, but decorated minimally and tastefully. The room size was generous with custom painted decorations on the walls. It came with a super-cold fridge, hot water, coffee/tea, kettle, A/C, cable TV and a private balcony. The beds were incredibly comfortable, featuring clean white duvets and pillows to match. As you move up the resort the rooms get even nicer, featuring panoramic views, larger TV’s and even in room hot tubs.

Overall, you can’t beat this place for the price. I’m giving this a 5 star review because it surpassed our expectations and made for a comfortable, welcoming experience.

Room Tip: The rooms higher on the higher floors offer perks such as in room hot tubs, panoramic views and more...

The hotel houses few rooms with a very few with beautiful view of nearby scenic hills. The pool is nice and must be tumultuous in high season, I imagine. The staff was professional and friendly. There is no breakfast, but there are markets with affordable prices nearby like '7 Eleven'. There is an excelent restaurant near the street. The rooms are clean enough, but we found some stains on bed linen. The bathroom is painfully simple and it could have been reformed and modernized up to the room (we stayed in room 204, with a view of hills and pool). It is usual to take off shoes and slippers at the entrance of the hotel. And the trips to the islands in the region can be found with the better prices on the main street.

The resort is far from a luxury resort/hotel, but we got everything that we need right there. We got the mountainview room wherein our balcony faces the cliffs that Ao Nang is famous for. The resort's location is a bit far from the main beach strip of Ao Nang, but close enough for a quick tuktuk ride or a 20-30 minute leisure stroll along the main street.

The rooms are clean and well-maintained. They encourage leaving your slippers before the lobby to keep the hotel building clean. The cute artsy design of the room walls is just like in the website pictures. The bed though is a bit squeaky when you always turn around on your sleep, but it's comfortable enough when you're just lying down :) There's a television set and refrigerator in the room as well, which we did not even expect given the cheap room prices. The pool is a great bonus as well, as most of the other budget hotels do not have their own pool. The pool water was not too cold and is perfect for a nice evening dip, especially after a full day in the beach and islands.

The resort doesn't have its own restaurant, but there are lots of restaurants around the area. We chanced upon Chaba Restaurant right off the street where they serve good food and Thai iced tea. Plus, they offer free shuttle service back to the hotel! :)

But the big catch is the really friendly staff in Ao Nang Miti. They have relatively good English and helped us in every way they can. They volunteered to book our tour and airport shuttle for us without hesitation.

Greatly recommending this hotel for budget-conscious travellers :))

Room Tip: The mountainview room is really nice and relaxing. The poolside might be a bit noisy especially if t...
