We walked all the way along unusual caves with monkeys and monitor lizards not knowing what we would come out at but when we saw a beautiful white sandy beach we were amazed ! We had expected a beach (as we were walking towards Phranang cave beach) but we did not expect anything like that ! Beautiful crystal clear waters of light green, great views and crisp warm sea - would more could you want !! People were rock climbing the caves there as the ascend looked steep and sharp... The waves were quite high which I thought was brilliant you go very deep quite quickly however but when I went over towards the rocks it was really something else 😮 I had done a snorkelling trip a few days before and even on that I had not seen water as clear and transparent as it is at Phranang cave ❕The sea was such a light green it was almost yellow and tropical fish were swimming by me I hardly even had to look down ! This is a must see when at Railay, the lagoon is supposed to be brilliant too but Phranang you don’t have go up any steep hills, you can just walk and it’s only about 5 minutes walk from Railay beach and the resorts 😊There is monkeys on the beach and when it’s quiet they swim there 😆

The fertility shrines in the caves are something to behold...thousands of phallic sculptures! The beach outside the caves is beautiful, with great swimming, though high tide seriously impacts the size of the beach. The rest of Rai Lay bay/beach (where the caves are located) is also a great experience - with a laid back atmosphere & lots of fun shops, bars & restaurants.....and some of the most stunning views in the area!

One of the best things to do on the island is this cave and the beach at the cave is by far the most beautiful in Railay. I have done a video on my YouTube channel you guys can check it out amazing amazing.

One of my favorite places in Krabi but it can get crowded during the day as it's a drop off spot for day trip tourists, to avoid that, you should go there very early in the morning or late in the afternoon for sunset.
