There are 2 things that you must know about this place before you decide to dine here. It is 1 of very few places that offers live seafood this side of Ao Nang and be prepared for the wait. We were attracted by the friendly owner and the healthy dinner crowd there. The live seafood is weighed and the price made known to you before you decide to take it and how you want it to be prepared. I personally found the prices reasonable for live seafood and it's all very transparent.
The steamed grouper was fresh (live seafood, so it's to be expected), the BBQ tiger prawns were decent, but we found the crab vermicelli a tad unsatisfactory as the crustacean was too small for our liking. But that's just our preference for the Sri Lankan variety.
We did hear the patron next to us complain to the owner about how his steak was done, but he did seem pleased by the latter's service recovery.
If not for my insistence on trying a different restaurant every dinner time, I'd have gladly come back for the live grouper.
