Today we enjoyed a fun filled cooking class with Pin of Siam Cuisine. She picked us up and took us to the amazing facility. Upon arrival we chose 6 dishes, from a varying menu, that we would like to cook. Pin was very clear on directions and very encouraging. The class was well paced, and we would take a break after creating 2 dishes, feast and socialize, and then head back to the kitchen. What a treat to find out exactly HOW to make my own dishes a bit sweeter, less salty and with a bit more zip...and definitely the ability to control the heat was an added bonus! I would definitely recommend this experience...there were 4 of us in the class and it was PERFECT!

This is a beach great for little kids as the water is shallow for hundreds of meters. During low tide, you can walk for miles out and still be at waist depth. Waves are a lot of fun though esp if the wind is up a little. Beach is generally fairly clean, MUCH better than the busy areas of Phuket or Pattaya, but not as clean as say, Phra Nang beach. The beach area during high tide is quite shelly (ie made of crushed up shells), but once the tide goes out, the sand is good. Overall the sand is not "white" but made of fine silt mixed with sand, so it feels a bit like mud. There are tons of hermit crabs to catch which is fun for the kids and at the southern end of the beach as are wild monkeys which are happy to relieve you of any food you might have - again fun to see. There is a wooden walkway which takes you over the rocky headland to another beach on the other side. This beach belongs to a hotel, but you're welcome to use the beach. At low tide you can walk around the headland without having to go over on the walkway.
Plenty of restaurants and 7-11's around to grab something to eat - whether you'd like to splash out a bit or go budget

This beach has many bars and restaurants. Also you can get a massage here and walk up a steep path to get to a hidden resort!

A spectacular place, the sights are beautiful and the shoreline is serene and one of the natural wonders of the world. It’s a great beach with soft white sand and quite private and huge.

Like Koh Samui but much smaller, Very Clean and many amazing and cheap restaurants. Unfortunatel the shopping is Same same and not much really to choose from.
The basic like sunglasses, tops, undies etc are what most stores sell
