The hotel is situated nearby restaurants, refreshments and 24/7 convenient stores. I like how the pool (deepest 1.6M) is overlooking the beach across the road. Though we can't swim at the beach due to the waves were strong and deep. The rooms were clean, wit king size beds and there is hot/shower with a tub. Nice lounge and accommodating staff!

Excellent beach front location, but: beach access difficult because of stones and the steps down are further away, also often low tide in this section. I stayed in the lowest of low seasons with only 6 guests in the approximately 60 rooms and sometimes nobody at all! The hotel next door wasn´t even open... Was given the superior room which was booked but cannot say I wasn´t disappointed because there was nobody else there and I was not given an ugrade during 2 week stay. Instead, the Thai friends of the owner who came to party for the weekend got the pool access rooms. The rooms are all the same size - superior, deluxe and pool access. Their location is the only difference, also furniture inside identical. Staff was always there immediately, when help was needed. No elevator, they carry the suitcases upstairs for you. The safe in the room is a joke. Too small for laptop, very hard to operate. Had to have it open by staff twice. TV has only 15 channels, and only one of them is an English news channel (BBC World), the rest mostly Thai. Moskitoes are present of course and also ants are marching up and down the bathroom, but nothing too bad. Pool is midsize, not too big, not too small. The lights at the balcony shut off automatically at 10pm. Bathtub is nice, Cotto brand but could be bigger. Water is not always hot. The worst about the hotel for me was the fact, that the toilet like so many in Southern Thailand is not meant to flush toilet paper and you have to throw it in the bin. I find this gross. Security hazard: The housekeeping staff have water bottles on their trays that contain cleaning chemicals. If a guest thinks, it´s really Evian and drinks it, the worst accidents can happen. Disappointing: During the day, pool works were done and showers closed. Library seems to be completely in Finnish language, for some reason. Across the street is a longtail boat service station but in low season it can take hours to fill up the boat with enough guests, so you need to take a 60 Baht taxi ride (or walk 15 minutes) to the busier section of town and catch a boat from there. Phranang was my favorite beach, even better than Railey around the corner or Tonsai. In low season, even trips to Koh Phi Phi are discounted and sell for 1200 (park fee included) for farangs instead of 2800 Baht. Many restaurants and of course 7 Eleven/Family Mart in walking distance. Since this is the Muslim part of Thailand, expect most restaurants not to serve pork. For 20 USD a day, this was absolutely okay. Not the Hilton, but I didn´t book the Hilton, so a solid 3 stars from me.

Room Tip: ask for pool access room

Good hotel with the great location.
Breakfast choice was excellent comparativlay with the location. Employees are positive.
But the food options for room service and others restaurant is below average.
If u are planing to explore krabi then u must hire a scooter/bike by 250TBH.
And don't forget to try jungle tour by elephant.

The only thing i continued my stay here was for the location. Just cross the road and walk on the beach.
Rooms are outdated and linen quality is average.Swimming pool was good. Breakfast is a big letdown with only couple of choices and cleanliness is poor in that area.
Lets talk about the staff. The lady at reception was the only one who would smile and greet you. Other people will give you some weird looks when asked any questions. I am not sure if they understand English very well but i have always seen great hospitality and smiling faces in Thailand (which is called as land of smiles).
Tons of options to eat nearby so don't bother eating at the hotel.
