Our first time to Aonang beach was last December and we're all glad we came. Plenty of food choices and a relatively clean beach

Nice beach but full of boats and so swimming isn't very pleasant. The beach is scenic and nice to walk along. Boats can be hired from right behind it. Food in the restaurants in Ao Nang is cheap and amazing.

One of the most beautiful beaches there is. The sand is not fine but that can be expected from a beach that does not have much wave activity. The restaurants on the beachfront are expensive and better food can be enjoyed at the non-beachfront ones.

Sit here facing the sea at sundown and see the sun set. A spread of colours occupy the sky as it moves from brightly lit to dark.
The swordfish sculpture is nice to look at while passing by

At high tide the water reaches all the way until the concrete wall that separates the beach from the road ( @ the center part), restaurants ( at either ends ) and the Krabi Resort ( at the northern end ). At low tide there is a wide beach. We found quite a bit of garbage on the beach and in the water. Filthy dark brown sand at low tide . We saw other people playing in the waves at low tide but avoided going there.
