We loved Baruchica! We spent 3 nights and days there, wish it was longer. Everything was great. The place is so open. We wound up having the place to ourselves (though it would have been nice to meet other people.) we thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Olga is wonderful, so warm, friendly, interesting and accommodating. Wish we had more time to chat. Arlieda is a great cook and the staff is very friendly and it doesn't even matter that you speak different languages. Not the place to go if your looking for the nightlife. However if you want to relax in hammocks on the beach and sleep in an open bedroom with the sunrise coming up at the bottom of your bed each morning, you'll be in paradise!

Room Tip: middle floor may be the best!

Went there in April, the place is amazing, great location, beautiful beach blue water, very quiet, great to relax. The only negative about it was the service, the owner Olga was not always there so staff was not as good as when she was. The food was a little disappointing. But the place is pretty nice. Meet with the nature and hopefully the owner will be always there when you go.
Thanks

Dear Olga,
I am sorry for not having written any review yet since I should have done that right away when i got home 1 month ago from my travels through South America. I have travelled through Colombia, Peru, Bolivia and Argentina but I have to say your place was the best, the nicest, the most beautiful I have stayed in. I really believe that if someone has not visited your place you have not visited the caribbean coast. Already the first minutes I saw you it felt like the most warm welcome ever. Also when I was at the lodge it immediately felt like home. I still think back of those days and miss it so much. I hope to visit you again sometime, just to have the experience all over again.

What can I say about Baruchica!! There are too many good things to mention that I don’t know where to start with!!

My wife and I stayed for 3 days with my 2 brothers and their girlfriends in January 2013 and it was AMAZING!!!! The accommodation was great, a room for each couple and each room has a magical feeling, the food was outstanding, we had the beach just for the 6 of us!! The bonfire on the beach and the sea food barbecue watching the starts was out of this world, however the best for me was her owner Olga! Olga you are the best! Unique and your passion is contagious! Olga will make you feel as a VIP guest in her beautiful hotel!!

I definitely recommends Baruchica for everyone, please do not miss it for anything in the world, it is a must experience!

We were extremely lucky to end up at Baruchica as the choices are limited for a few days outside of Cartagena unless you have a major bankroll to spend. If you are looking for a place that is neither a cookie cutter resort nor a high end spa this is the place to relax and meet fellow travelers (mostly from South America). Olga, Marcello and staff are wonderful people who make you feel at home and help you explore the area. The food and rooms are excellent. If you like birding bring your glasses and enjoy. Ask Olga if you can go with her as she drives around to get the freshest local fruits, eggs and fish and you will see a real slice of coastal Colubia which 99% of tourists miss.Olga is a very special person who makes sure everyone is involved in the dinner conversation.

From all the places I've been and will like to go back, baruchica will be the first to pick, it is what I call a vacation a chance of pace, a place where you can leave the hectic world behind to gather your thoughts to look ahead, and when the sad time comes to depart you take with you the energy and refreshingness to go on
Every breeze and every leaf seems to care about you and not even mention the kind words and delicious food to fill and nourish your heart and soul
thank you dear Olguchica for your hospitality
