7 of us did the 10 day Fully Catered Coastal Expedition. 2 of us had previously done the circumnavigation of Isla Espiritu Santo with BOA. There was some concern about returning because sometimes the repeat is not as good. Well now I can tell you you should do both trips. The equipment, staff, food, drinks, organization, ease of booking and communication and attention to details were excellent on both trips. The second trip is much more demanding but the staff was up to dealing with all of our concerns, however important they were or weren't. The guides never lost patience with our crew. Often repeating details until all understood. They made everybody feel like a somebody.

In summary, if you have any thoughts of going kayaking in Baja, go with BOA, you'll be very happy with their services.

We just spent 6 nights circumnavigating Isla Espiritu Santos on a kayak trip through BOA. There were 10 people in our group and the experience was wonderful. We kayaked about 5-10 miles each day (except one day when we had a rest day and snorkelled, hiked and relaxed on the beach), camping at night on beautiful beaches. The two guides, Chino and Ivan were great (fun, well organized, helpful and informative), and the cook Alvarito cooked amazing food on a two burner camp stove. In addition to some incredible kayaking, we snorkeled, hiked and swam with the sea lions. A highlight for me was when Alvarito showed us how to find Octopus under the rocks at low tide. He then prepared an amazing Octopus appetizer for happy hour! We slept in tents, on the beach and all of the equipment provided by BOA was of good quality, including the kayaks, tents and sleep mats. Our excursion included a night before the kayak trip and a night after the kayaking at the Marina hotel, which was perfect for our needs. The final 'goodbye' dinner was also included and was a great way to say goodbye to our guides and cook and to the wonderful people we met on the trip. Overall, an excellent, well organized trip.

Great day spent kayaking around Balandra Bay. Just my husband and me in our group so we had the guide to ourselves. Met at 8 AM at the office... everything was ready to go. Got in the van with Manuel and off we went. We kayaked througth the mangroves, bird-watched a little, went to a cave, snorkelled, ate lunch that was provided and continued to explore the bays until late in the afternoon.
We plan to go back again and do the camping/kayaking tour around Espiritu Island. The company was great to deal with when we were booking and our guide was knowledgeable and has a great sense of humour. We will be back!

Well organized, good equipment, great guides! The guides were very well organized. Telling us what we were going to do, when we were going to do it, and then as we were about to do it, tell us again. Alvarito as the cook was great! The food at every meal was excellent and fresh. The attention to cleanliness was important and not one person had an issue.

Between the great kayaking, snorkeling and swimming with the sea lions, beautiful camping spots we experienced our best trip yet!

BOA ran a high quality trip. 7 days, 6 nights was not enough....

Well organized, friendly, informed staff and definitely the people to go to for any marine trips in La Paz area. I had a wonderful day on their Espiritu Santo Island trip taking a motor boat around the island. It carried kayaks and standup paddle boards and a great captain and guide. We saw whales, and dolphins played with the boat on the way out to the island and the animals were treated with great respect. We visited wonderful beaches, kayaked, snorkeled and had a relaxing lunch. They got me my requested vegetarian salad and with fruit and drinks we were never hungry. Then the highlight of the trip was snorkeling with the sealions. They are such fun to swim with and there were also plenty of tropical fish to admire including an enormous school of sardines. It was a wonderful day trip for all ages and next time I will come back for one of their longer kayak expeditions to camp on the island and explore it more thoroughly.
