You can have complete confidence in the photos and descriptions of Casa Verde Inn.It truly is the ideal home from home in La Paz.the welcome is as warm as you could wish, the rooms comfortable and spacious, the decor tasteful, the breakfasts tasty and healthy and the patio and pool area a perfect haven after an exhausting day on one of the beautiful beaches! Thank you to Cinzia and Roberto for all that ...and for the excellent advice for eating out in town.

We spent 5 days in Casa Verde in August 2012 and it was a wonderful experience. Cinzia and his husband restored a traditional house and took out this wonderful site with an internal quiet patio a small pool and three wonderful rooms finely furnished and decorated by the personal taste of the two owners.

The site is extremely quiet and the location is convenient to easily reach any relevant point of interest in La Paz.

Cinzia and his husband's kindness is well above any standard and with their advise on trips, restaurants and places to see they can make your holiday even more enjoyable.

My spouse and I felt right at home the moment we walked into the gates of Casa Verde. After a long day of travels, we were greeted by Cinzia (owner and operator) and her very friendly black Labrador, Fatuma. (The adorable black cat was use to visitors and didn't get up from the cool tile to greet us). Cinzia immediately offered us a cold beverage and directed us to the Yellow Room. The room was extremely clean. Nicely tiled, clean shower and a spotless bathroom. The room was very large. Perhaps it was the tiled floors, but the bedroom seemed larger than a hotel room. There is a small patio to relax on too, which is separate from the common space of the B&B.

The soaker pool in the common space is perfect to sit around while sipping on a perfectly mixed margarita or Pacifico. Cinzia is very much approachable and knowledgeable about La Paz. She gave excellent recommendations for places to eat on the Malecon. Did I mention she knows three languages? Maybe more, but I heard Italian, English, and Spanish. She's very resourceful.

The B&B is located a few blocks from the Malecon, which means it's quieter and less busy. The walk from the B&B to the Malecon is very safe and a simple. In fact, everyone was extremely friendly. We also took a bus from La Paz to Tecolote Beach for $2.50 each, which of course, Cinzia helped us figure out. (It was a bumpy ride on the bus, but saved a lot of money, which can be spent on more Pacifico and fish tacos).

We stayed a total of four nights at the B&B (two nights upon arrival in La Paz, and 2 nights before departing La Paz). La Paz was great. But staying at Casa Verde made it so much better than we anticipated. There were on frills. Things were simple and not at all cumbersome. Simple breakfast. Easy mornings. No worries. Cinzia is trusting and we recommend staying here.

We've been back at home for two weeks now, and we've been thinking about our return trip, which will hopefully be sooner than later, and it will most certainly involve staying at Casa Verde.

2 friends and I visited Baja late april/early may. We stayed at Casa Verde Inn for 3 nights going north and one more night travelling back south. The property is awsome, beautifully decorated, clean and cosy. And last but not least the Malecon is within walking distance. The pool in the welcoming garden was always a pleasant place to return after the amazing day trips recommended from our great hosts, Cinzia and Roberto. They really know La Paz and every place to visit and even great places to eat. Our room was the Yellow room, spacious, private and comfortable, it simply felt like being home. We really miss the healthy breakfast in the courtyard and the pleasant chatting with our charming hosts. We hope will be back as soon as we can. Thanks for everything, Francesca, Daniela and Giusy.

My wife and I and another couple recently stayed at the Casa Verde Bed & Breakfast Inn in La Paz, Mexico (May 24-26, 2012). We stayed two nights in the "Purple" and "Blue" guestrooms respectively. The rooms are very very clean and large with king sized beds and are well decorated with quaint Mexican, European and unique style art pieces. The outside courtyard is a wonder place to enjoy a cocktail after a day of touring, fishing, site seeing, etc. It has a small pool and is well shaded with large umbrellas, palm trees, etc.

The breakfast is very healthly with cereal, toast, coffee, juice, homemade jams, fruit, yogurt, etc. Most importantly however are the wonderful hosts - Roberto and Cinzia. They truly enjoy attending to their guests and can help with anything you may need including booking tours, restaurant recommendations and reservations, etc. Casa Verde is centrally located and a short five block walk to the Malecon (waterfront).

We would highly recommend Casa Verde to anyone looking for a good B&B in La Paz with the most friendly and wonderful hosts - Roberto and Cinzia.

Room Tip: Casa Verde only has three guestrooms - two downstairs (Blue & Purple) and one upstairs (Yellow).

We stayed two nights at Casa Verde Inn last week and it was the perfect place for us to stay. We stayed in the Blue room which was spacious, clean and nicely decorated with amazing attention to detail. One of the reasons we stayed here was the available king sized beds, which is apparently hard to come by in the La Paz area. The courtyard is cool and shady in the afternoon and a great place to relax and cool off from the sun. The location is very convenient for walking to the Malecon, which took about 10 minutes. We felt very safe walking the area even after dark. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby as well. Plenty of on-street parking available. Cinzia and Roberto were excellent hosts. Breakfast was fresh and tasty and they offered lots of great suggestions of places to visit near by. They also have a supply of maps and other resources for the area. Be sure to get a map! Many of the streets in La Paz are unmarked and there are lots of one-ways! We would stay here again and recommend it to anyone in the area.

We stayed at Casa Verde Inn for 4 nights in the yellow room. It was great. The room was private, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. Cinzia and Roberto were great hosts! The property is located near the Malecon and close to good restaurants and activities. We really enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this hotel highly!

Room Tip: I would choose the yellow room.
