“Yum! A must if you go to La Paz”
Reviewed 1 January 2014

We lodged nearby and went for awesome cappuccino, coffee, hot chocolate with Chantilly (MUST TRY) and/or gelato every day. The owner is from Verona, Italy and creates ice cream that is the best in town - hard to find good ice cream in La Paz. He had some licorice gelato which was awesome, but my favorite was hazelnut. You cannot miss this little, just off the malecón little diamond.

“Great place to wander in for coffee and ice cream”

The selection is good and they have good coffee too. Great way to end the evening after dinner in the Melecon.

“Great Little Place”
Reviewed 20 December 2013

On the hunt for a good latte, we stopped in the Gelateria after it was recommended to us by some Italians we had met. The coffee was very good but what I enjoyed more were the chocolate croissants. Flaky with lots of dark chocolate. Just right for a breakfast on the go or for a afternoon snack.

“Come here for dessert or afternoon treat”
Reviewed 8 August 2013

My 9 yo loved it. They have authentic gelato, with grown-up flavors like Tiramisu, and with flavors that please the kids as well, like M&M and Oreos. The place is small but nicely set, with comfortable seating. They also have pies and coffee.

“My favorite dessert in La Paz”
Reviewed 4 August 2013

Delicious icy treats, exactly as they are made in Italy. Little quirky spot. Less than 30 pesos. What's not to love?
