“Fantastic little restaurant”
Reviewed 4 April 2014

We spent almost five weeks in Baja California and ate some delicious, fresh fish but with the usual accompaniments of salad, baked potato, tortillas and refried beans mealtimes became a little monotonous.

Then there was Zoe, fish of the day was always something a little different so we kept going back. Their menu has a strong Italian flavour - but there are plenty of other choices. Having said that the gnocchi, pasta and risotto were all cooked to utter perfection and would leave most Italian restaurants standing.

The service at Zoe's was very friendly and relaxed and we were greeted with genuine enthusiasm on our return visits. Absolutely the best food in Baja.

“We live to eat here again.....food is the Best Ever!”
Reviewed 2 April 2014

Back again this year....our favorite restaurant in La Paz has a new name.......Zoe! Have eaten here almost every night, while staying at the hotel Mediterrane . The chef has to be the best in La Paz.....everything he makes comes out to be so delicious ......we never leave anything on our plates when we're finished eating. One of my favorite meals is the ensalada de casa.....I have eaten this over and over...I highly recommend this dish....so healthy and fresh. The owners are very personable and attentive .....try this eatery, you will not be disappointed. The best in La Paz.....we're rushing over there now.....just super delicious . We long for this restaurant when we are back in Canada.......love this place and their staff.....just lovely always......thank you Zoe!

“Memorable dining experience in La Paz”
Reviewed 24 March 2014

Five women vacationing in La Paz chose Zoe for their first dinner out. What I had read on TripAdvisor led me to believe it would be a good choice. And honestly, our evening there exceeded our expectations. Wonderful, genuine, friendly service. And the food was incredible. I had never even heard of Snook -- a delicate fish - and it was prepared to perfection. We enjoyed a table in the little courtyard, a perfect wine recommendation and we just had a lovely time.
After dinner, we enjoyed a walk along the Malecon and memories of a splendid memorable evening.

“Wonderful Restaurant”
Reviewed 3 March 2014

There isn't a lot of reason to go to La Paz, but if you do go, you really must eat dinner at Zoe's. My husband and I ate there on Feb. 9, 2014 and it was the dining highlight of our ten day trip to Los Cabos. The waiter and the bus boys were very friendly. The food was delicious. The setting was lovely. We ate on the veranda and it was a perfect evening. The restaurant is just off the malecon, past Appleby's (how's that for a weird way to find a superior restaurant??) I can't think of any reason we would return to La Paz except that we might want to go to Zoe's again.

“Beautiful Elegance”
Reviewed 1 March 2014 via mobile

My husband and I enjoyed dinner at Zoe 2 weeks ago and it was a magnificent experience! The spinach gnocchi was heaven on earth. The mushroom crostini was a delicious mound of wine infused mushrooms on delicate toast rounds, the salads were delightful and fresh and my margarita was a deliciously PERFECT blend. Only regret, no room for dessert! After finishing our delightful meal we had the opportunity of chatting with the amazing Chef Norbert. The brilliant chef/co-owner of Restaurant Zoe and the attached Hotel Mediterrean.

I would be remiss if I didn't give a public "Thank You" to the wonderful wait staff at Zoe. Both our waiter and bus boy were polite, respectful and incredibly friendly. Their "could not do enough for us" attitudes were genuine and we genuinely appreciated them both.

Being from San Francisco, we felt right at home in Zoe. From the world class dining to the eclectic European decor, this establishment truly is a gem. We are already planning our return trip to LaPaz which will, of course, include another visit to Zoe!

Restaurant Zoe is not jut a restaurant. It is an experience. A delightful, delightful experience...
