We celebrated my mother's birthday at Susanna's on a recent trip to Rosarito. I am so glad we found this amazing gem of a restaurant! The food, service, and ambience were perfect! Dishes we especially enjoyed were the garden salads, tortilla soup, winter chicken, spice rubbed pork chop, huge rib eye, filet mignon with bleu cheese butter, and chocolate cake for dessert. We brought our own wine and paid a corkage fee but next time will sample the variety of baja wines Susanna offers. We were lucky to meet the owner, Susanna. She is the reason this restaurant thrives, such a gracious host, great energy! Our server, Luis was also attentive, polite, and sweet. The open kitchen concept is fabulous. Thanks for the special dinner, we talked about it all the way home and the next day. We also were able to take advantage of the border pass which made crossing the border less hectic. Love this restaurant and can't wait to return!
