The rooms are basic but clean and are relatively cheap (US$35--there is a $5 key deposit as well, don't forget it when you leave). We should have gone directly across the road to the Costa Azul (it must have been better)--this was a Wednesday and the restaurant was therefore closed (no free margarita as was advertised--but who would miss one more crummy margarita). Still, when we asked whether the restaurant was open in the evening, we were told it was. We then found that it was open to a private party that did not include us.
The pool was dirty and not heated.
This is not some fussy gringo looking for luxury. I have stayed in s**** hotels from London to LA. This is just one more. There are likely many better in San Felipe. Look elsewhere.
