“Great food if you like to try something out of the ordinary.”
Reviewed 9 August 2014

I went to eat here with my son and daughter, it was fantastic. I have tasted their kind of food in the interior of Mexico and it is as if I had gone back there again.
I realize it is odd food but we had a great meal, the service was great and the waiter gave us every thing we asked for the way we wanted it. We mostly sampled some of the small appetizers, like the bone marrow and mushroom stew (wow) and the quesadillas made with different fillings, they Chips and salsa were great and they also give you a bean dip that is outstanding. Definitively a must go to place. (If you like to eat exotic food). It is a bit expensive but worth every cent. This will be our go to eat place.
This is a place to experience the many tastes of Mexico's finest regional unique dishes.
If you are in to discovering new eating experiences, "TRY IT", you will not regret it.

“Weird and Average”
Reviewed 14 October 2013

they had some weird stuff on the menu like salads with pink yogurt dressing, Pork Skins in salsa for almost $10 a plate and Exotic Crickets dried and served like a appetizer. "la Diferencia" is different but way to expensive for what you get. since we sat in the Private Room as soon as we started speaking with each other, wheather you were done or not they would take your plates from you. It seemed like they wanted you to leave quickly.

“One of my favorites”
Reviewed 16 August 2013

This place serves up some of the finest alta cocina style Mexican food there is. Really nice ambiance and the service is excellent. Highly recommend the flautas de barbacoa appetizer. Some of the other great things I've had here are the chile relleno with huitlacoche. The filet is good too. Excellent bar. Love the tamarind margaritas. Chips with salsa and a black bean dip. Everything is great here, and given the quality, the prices are reasonable too.

“weird food but often bland”
Reviewed 25 July 2013

Hard for me to rate this restaurant honestly. A lot of weird food is served here, which for me is usually a good thing. But the execution of their products isn't great. Their food is often quite bland. A lot of their food seems old. I also get the feeling that the kitchen isn't quite clean back there. I don't go here often but if you want a different mexican experience, go ahead, its not terrible by any means.
