“Favorite place to eat in Baja”
Reviewed 15 September 2013

When my friends come to visit, we always take them here. We have never been disappointed. My wife loves the Nopalas salad and I love the steaks. My friends love Mexican food and they really like the flavors here. We eat here about once per month. Highly recommend.

Reviewed 3 September 2013

Food is great, service is awesome. Some nights they have mariachi playing there. And hand made flower tortillas.

“Service and Food are Top Notch!”
Reviewed 5 August 2013

Ate here on Saturday night and the food and service were both fantastic. I had the camarones costa azul which is shrimp wrapped in bacon and were delicious. They bring nice toasted corn tortillas, chili and a beef dish before they bring your food. It was all beyond tastey and the server along with the manager provided great service. The waiter stood by our table waiting to see if we needed anything. The singer they had that night was really good and the ambience was really very relaxing. There was 7 of us and we all loved the food. Very impressed and would definitely visit again.

“bland, bad suggestions, seems old”
Reviewed 25 July 2013

I went there twice. Each time I asked for suggestions, the second time the guy ordered wayyyyyyy too much food for me probably to just generate business for the restaurant which was pretty scammy. I didn't even finish 30% of what he had ordered at his discretion and I wasn't eating too little or anything. Food seems likes its old, not cooked that well... seems to run deep in this vein of a lot of mexican fare restaurants that serve really mediocre food if you have any understanding of this. (with a lot of these restaurants once you've been to one you've been to them all).

“Excellent for Breakfast Lunch or Dinner”
Reviewed 25 June 2013 via mobile

The breakfasts are some of the best in Tijuana their red/green chiliquiles, beans and potatoes are excellent as of course are the many breakfast main courses they are served with. They may have ostrich egg omelette if you ask. For lunch or dinner the grilled selections are popular. I really like the ostrich fajitas especially with an Indio beer. Another very popular and recommended dish when available is chiles in nogada which is a very photogenic plate, well prepared, and very tasty as well. They have a full bar and good selection of tequilas during happy hour you may get a free tequila with each beer you order. The complementary with meal grilled not fried tostada chips, fried pork skins in green sauce and 3 types of salsa are a bit spicy but very tasty and complement the meal well. The excellent traditional grilled tostadas are brought in place of the fried chips some people may expect if you want fried chips no problem you can ask and they will bring them for you. Parking may be by a trustworthy security guard depending on the number of cars.
