Chinese food tastes different in every city I have visited from Taipei, San Francisco or LA to Tokyo and Kuala Lumpur, all good in their own sense but when you grow up on something that just rings thru.
Tijuana makes a point of Chinese food with taste geared to Mexican palette. Dragon Verde was a very good reminder of this, the taste is powerful and a little towards the salty but using fresh ingredients. The "Pollo Asado con Hongos" really a fried chicken with mushroom sauce was great a very nice surprise, the "Arroz Cantones" was fried to Tijuana style perfection.
The have take out and the prices are a bargain as Chinese restaurants tend to be!
