We just returned from a trip to Todos Santos and had a thoroughly wonderful stay at Los Colibris Casitas. My husband, three children (7,5, and 2) stayed in this charming two bedroom house and found it very comfortable and full of thoughtful touches. The master suite upstairs in beautiful with a terrific view. The view from the house was amazing and we enjoyed eating out on the porch for several meals. The entire house was very well equipped which helped to make our stay very enjoyable - so many nice amenities. The house was not very child proof, but we have come to expect that in Mexico. The building codes are completely different. It is perfect for children 5 and up - and probably babies who are not walking as well, but not ideal for children 2-4. I had a little trouble sleeping because of the unfamiliar sounds outside (rooster, dogs, gardener), but I am a very light sleeper and rarely sleep well on vacation. The best part of our trip was having the owner, Sergio, take us on several guided tours. We went kayaking, snorkeling and took a trip to see mountain potters. I am so glad we did not rent a house on our own because we could never have put together such an amazing week. Not only was Sergio a fantastic guide - unbelievably knowledgeable and endlessly patient with our very talkative children, but he also was...We just returned from a trip to Todos Santos and had a thoroughly wonderful stay at Los Colibris Casitas. I am so glad we did not rent a house on our own because we could never have put together such an amazing week. Not only was Sergio a fantastic guide - unbelievably knowledgeable and endlessly patient with our very talkative children, but he also was able to provide us with surf lessons, babysitting and even having a wonderful meal cooked in our home. We loved his dogs who follow him everywhere. We were a little disappointed at first to learn that the closest beach is a bit of a hike and not swimmable, but most of the beaches in that area are not meant for swimming. The pool was perfectly fine and our children would have been happy just staying there all day. The road to town is quite bumpy, but I did finally get used to it. Overall, we had a memorable vacation with a tremendous variety of experiences. I would highly recommend Los Colibris Casitas.More
