We were able to attend a service there on this visit and it was interesting to be able to experience a Mexican Catholic service. Although we are not nearly fluent in the language, we were welcomed as any parishioner would be. The people who attended the 6pm service on Sunday were varied and it was evident they were mostly locals.
The priest was casual yet comfortable in his duties. His sermon was geared towards the audience and he addressed his flock with a message that was geared towards his community. It is refreshing to see that 'class' has no boundaries in church.
The altar design has been 'updated', I believe and I liked the abstract-like representation of the cross.

We were advised to check out the historical church by our resort and it was so fun. The entire town of todos santos is so cute, this church is gorgeous and we felt a positive presence while there.

The ochre colored church should be deleted because it is Misione de Nuestra Senora de Pilar, which already has a separate listing.

The reviews should be moved to Misione de Nuestra Senora de Pilar and the listing for the ochre colored church should be deleted. My fiancee is Mexican and we talked with many locals in our attempt to find it and it is clear that it is really just Misione de Nuestra Senora de Pilar.

This is a quiet, peaceful spot to visit when going back and forth to the exquisite art shops around town. Don't miss the Mayan mosaic calendar in the small square on the north side of the large town square.

We got to peak inside during the Christmas service. Amazing! Its just another big church, not my favorite place to visit on vacation but this church is unique. Its worth a look and maybe some time spent loitering around the plaza.
