First, this house is unbelievable. The property sits on it's own gated parcel of land and right up against the beach is a perfectly designed home big enough for your whole family. We even hired a woman from in town to come to the house and make fish tacos. Pool is great, hot tub was a surprising hit on the cool nights. Everyone in our group is now heartbroken that we're back home and not sitting in the palapa watching the sunset over the ocean. Can't wait to go back.

Villa Santa Cruz in the lovely Todos Santos area was the best place to have our destination wedding. We were married in November of 2013, renting the 4 room boutique hotel and the 3 room casita on the property. Todos Santos is an eclectic artsy foody town that is a must stay in Mexico. It's away from the hustle of busy Cabo and such a wonderful loving community. TS is approx one hour from Cabo International Airport. I would suggest purchasing food in Cabo before heading to TS. There is a Costco, Sam's Club, Walmart, and Mega in route. TS does have small mercados but will be limited. Villa Santa Cruz is about 15-20 minutes north of downtown Todos Santos. Don't get discouraged along the route as your oasis awaits.

The hotel is safely behind a beautiful gate that leads you down the driveway toward the beach. The hotel is simply breathtaking with a gorgeous pool and only steps away from the beach. On the main floor is a fully equipped kitchen, living room, indoor and outdoor dinning table. The 2nd floor has 4 rooms each with a bathroom. The hotel is artfully adorned with Mexican decor that is warm and inviting. Be sure to make your way up to the rooftop for the most amazing view and make s'mores in the rooftop fire pit. And of course chill out in the large pool on the property!!! How could I forget to mention the killer surf point, La Pastora, just down the beach from the property. VSC is the perfect place for get away vacation.

If you are considering having a wedding in Todos Santos the answer is 100% Villa Santa Cruz!! We live in San Francisco and wanted get away from the city and enjoy a relaxing beach wedding. We have been visiting Cabo for 10+ years individually and always made it a point to visit Todos Santos for its beaches and cute quaintness. We toured various properties in Todos Santos before deciding on Villa Santa Cruz for our wedding stay and venue. Criteria important to us was being on the beach, easy access to epic surf, flexibility to bring in your own vendors, distance from neighbors so that we could play music into the evening, large enough but still intimate. Our wedding had about 65 guests and we didn't not feel empty nor crowded, it was just right! Jessica and Matt are the property owners that live onsite with their bouncing new addition...so cute. They are American which made our communicating much easier than at some properties which wouldn't be a concern for a regular vacay but considering it was our wedding was very helpful. Jessica and Matt are wonderful, very sweet, relaxed people. They were there to help at any given point and not over barring. The wedding handlings were mainly with Jessica who we hired as our day of coordinator which went off without a hitch. We hired Eat Cabo located in Cabo as our caterer that also provided tables, linens, etc (see our separate review but even to this day our guests comment on how delicious the food was). As a cost saver, we purchased drinks and alcohol from Costco in Cabo. We did all the decor and even made the alter, but the views the best decorations. Flowers were hard to find, but there is tulip warehouse just before entering TS. Cocktails and apps around the pool was a perfect setting. Dinner was had on the grassy area down from the back terrace which was well lit into the evening using the bistro lightening supplied by the VSC. My husband and our friends are DJs so being able to play music was crucial for us and the back terrace was perfect for our dancing crew. Honestly, Villa Santa Cruz couldn't have been a better choice. Everything was perfect. Us and our guests only have only the best memories. We are still getting compliments to this day on the epic event! Huge thanks to Jessica and Matt for all your help. You are superstars!

My pasty, New England skin doesn’t agree with warm, cloudless beaches. The sun burns, the sand is itchy and the jellyfish love to sting me.

So when my old college roommate and best friend announced that he was getting married in Baja, I feigned excitement. Oh, and in addition to being best man he informed me that I was also going to be presiding over their beachfront ceremony at some villa they had rented…

“Oh man, that’s, like uh, great…” I replied, mentally stocking up on SPF50 sunscreen…

Fast-forward to meeting my friend at the airport. We grab the rental car and, with “Exile on Main Street” blaring from the stereo, begin the trip to Villa Santa Cruz.

At first glance it’s… well…impressive… Not in the Palace of Versailles sense, but the place exudes a homey extravagance that immediately appealed to my New Hampshire sensibilities. Over the course of the next few days Villa Santa Cruz was our home. Somewhere between late-night drinks on the rooftop bar to gorging on ceviche in the Palapas, I started thinking that maybe I was wrong about this whole beach thing. Then we went surfing…then fishing…somewhere in here we ate carnitas in Todos Santos…more ceviche…a meal at Hotel California…swimming in pool…the ceremony…another fantastic meal… sky lanterns and a bonfire on the beach…

…man, I could get used to this…

Eventually it was time to go. Driving back to the airport I reflected on my time at Villa Santa Cruz. I’d acquired a sunburn, several hangovers, fantastic memories as well as a newfound appreciation for warm, sunny climates…

Great property, amazing hosts and a perfect place to get away. Wish we had more time to relax there! Felt like a home where we had our own space, but had matt and jessica there anytime we needed something.

This is one of our favorite boutique hotels of all time and we are definitely planning to go back to this beautiful villa. Villa Santa Cruz is a luxurious eco friendly boutique hotel located 10 minutes from Todos Santos. The owners are absolutely wonderful and they welcome you with real margaritas, that they make for you with freshly squeezed lemons, oranges and a special aged tequila stored in barrels. The rooms are beautifully decorated with a local Mexican flare and the balconies overlook the property and the sea. You can go for walks on the beach, relax at the pool, chill in a hammock, walk around the beautiful property, or take a nap at the second floor of the tiki hut overlooking the pacific ocean. The owners can also arrange massages or cooking classes at the villa. In the morning, you get coffee or tea delivered to your room, and you can just relax and sip your tea or coffee enjoying your own balcony views. Breakfast was included and it was excellent with freshly squeezed orange juice!!!. At night you can just stare at the stars while you are in the jacuzzi or enjoying the fire pit at the top of the villa. Just wonderful!!!. This is a perfect place to relax and also perfect for family or for a romantic getaway. Todos Santos it is only a 10 min drive from the property so you can head there for lunch or dinner. But once you are in this property it is so lovely that you want to spend most of your time here. We look forward to coming back to this place!!!
