We had a wonderful time in paradise at Posada La Poza with perfect hosts: The fairy tale garden cum swimming pool opens to laguna and beach beyond, and the perfection of the sunsets matches the thoughtful and discreet service. Plus, the food prepared by Chef Jürg definitely definitely deserves three gourmet stars! We will be back...

Spent 6 nights here and wish we had longer.
The hotel is set in a beautiful garden next to a lagoon and the beach.
The lagoon was great for birdwatching and we were lucky enough to see baby turtles on the beach.
The saline pool is gorgeous and we had it all to ourselves most of the time.
I asked for afternoon tea on our first day and it was faithfully delivered every day after that - for no charge!
Altogether a wonderful and memorable stay.

Room Tip: Choose the Master Suite. It is well worth the extra money for a huge bedroom/sitting room with fireplace and a wonderful large terrace.

We spent four perfect days in this wonderful resort. The food is delicious and the service impeccable. The location couldn't be better....from the beach we boarded a fishing boat to go whale watching (and saw MANY breaching whales!). Then went horseback riding on the same beach later in the day. The grounds contain many beautiful succulents and the salt-water pool is refreshing, the hot tub a perfect temperature. Our room was spacious enough for us and our teenage daughter. And the adjoining patio deck overlooked the lagoon and palm trees... perfect for watching the sunset and reading outside. The decor is festive and colorful. And all needs were anticipated.

We were lucky enough to discover this wonderful spot and enjoyed every minute. The owners kindly organised a pickup for us from a late flight into La Paz so we arrived well after dark, and when we woke we discovered the hotel is surrounded by a beautiful desert garden through which paths meander to pool, spa, and the main hotel restaurant. It's very quiet and you will need to catch a taxi into Todos Santos, which is a beautiful and as yet unspoilt pueblito. But you can walk to the stunning ocean beach where we were lucky enough to participate in the turtle releasing. We'd highly recommend La Poza.

Just finished 5 nights here and would love to return. Spectacular grounds and landscaping that are meticulously maintained including saline pool, jacuzzi, ample lounge chairs and hammocks for sun or shade, etc. Gorgeous and serene views everywhere of the adjacent lagoon and Pacific Ocean. The terrace bar or our balcony (room 21) were perfect for sunsets. Speaking of our room, we loved the beds and bedding — foam mattresses, thick down comforters — and all the other creature comforts. Also loved the eggs at breakfast — Rachera or Mexicana. Nice off-the-beaten-path location but a quick drive to Todos Santos or down the road to Pescadero or Cerritos. Friendly, helpful proprietors and staff all around.

Room Tip: Room 21 has 2 Queen beds and a nice little balcony!
