“Terrific fish and shrimp tacos and charming service”
Reviewed 6 January 2013

We are just back from Todos Santos and went to this place about 4 times. It's off the first road (the pass through road) once you enter Todos Santos through the arch on Highway 19 coming north from Cabo. Make a right and it's on your left. It's a family run business. Jose, the owner, is kind and accomodating and loves children. His daughter played with our young son. Fish and shrimp tacos are great - served fried or grilled. Quick service, nice space. Some of the best tacos in town!

“Best shrimp tacos in Todos Santos!”
Reviewed 9 December 2012

This little local taco stand was recommended to us by the owners of the place that we stayed at while in Todos Santos. We had a hard time finding it the first couple of days as it wasn't on the local map. It is on the street that runs perpendicular to 19, just east of the ice factory, on del Huerto. It is just a bit away from Compa Chava. We had passed by it a few times and never saw anyone eating there, and for whatever reason took that as a sign. Well, never judge a book by its cover!

We finally stopped for lunch, and were so glad we did. After doing the taco crawl through town, including Georges, which many claim to be the best, we decided that El Tacos y Mariscos Sinaloense had them all beat.

Jose, his wife and children are such nice people, and are truly happy to see you in their restaurant. The entire menu, at least on our visit, was seafood based. Fish, shrimp, and scallop tacos, to name a few, as well as smoked marlin, ceviches - mixtos, camarones, pescados, pulpos.... and fish entrees. You can have your choice of fried (wet batter - the best!) or a la plancha. Maria does the cooking, and her batter is so light and flavorful, the shrimp extremely fresh and sweet, and the tortillas perfect as well. Tacos were 15 or 20 pesos, I can't recall which, and come with all of the baja style fixings; salsas, chipotle sauce, crema, limes, chopped cabbage. You also have your choice of flour or corn tortillas.

We ate here two days in a row, and had we found its sooner, would have eaten here daily. I loved the scallop tacos and ceviche as well; so fresh and delicious. We are constantly on the hunt for the best fish and shrimp tacos, and we believe we found the cream of crop at this restaurant.

The restaurant itself is an open air palapa restaurant, extremely clean and quaint. While they don't typically serve beer, the first day we visited and asked, they actually ran to the store to get us beer! Jose speaks English, but encourages you to practice your Spanish, which I loved. Jose's daughter "La Jefa" is adorable too!

I hope you try this restaurant out while in Todos Santos. We will be craving their food until we can return again someday! If you go, tell Jose and Maria their friends from cold, snowy Wisconsin say hello!

Oh also, they are only open til about 7:00 at night.
