The hotel is in a nice location right in front the US consulate. The first night the blankets had hairs and stains on them. For the price I figured at least that much we deserved. Dirty counters and floors even after I ran into the housekeeper and saved her work told her to leave the bed and towels but to sweep and mop the floors. I talked to management and he said he did not mind me writing a bad review because they would go off on that to better there hotel. I got moved from the 7th floor because it seems there was a water leak and moved to the 3rd floor where I can hear all the doors and people walking around. HOTEL NOT RECOMMENDED! no refrigerator, no micro, no continental breakfast. At the end the price being paid here gets set higher because then they add the taxes. There are other hotels in the area for a few more dollars you get a pool, a training area, continental breakfast, microwave or refrigerator.

Room Tip: The 7th floor was better than the 3rd they are quieter.

I was at this hotel in August of 2013. It was a great choice. It was very close to the consulate. It was my first time in Mexico, I didn't know what to expect but my stay here was just great I felt very safe. A plus about thus hotel that I had wifi internet access at all times! If you need advice about a future consulate visit or have any questions about my stay feel free to message me at iraidominguez@gmail.com

My husband and I stayed here while we awaited a visa process. Right next to the consulate, across the street from a mall with a movie theater, plus many restaurants in walking distance. The room was small and basic but clean, if a bit worn (much more 'worn down' than other Ibis hotels I've stayed at). The staff were nice and the hotel flexible when we needed to extend our stay. Very good hotel for the price.

I paid 185.00 for 6 days 5 nights for a full size bed very small but comfy with hotel.com which was a great price. The rooms are very small but clean. I requested a handicap accessible room since I placed the reservation 6 week in advance And, they did not have one available when I got here or during my whole stay here. They kept saying tomorrow they would see if they had one and it never happened. Bring your own hair products because theres no shampoo or conditioner provided in rooms. But, There is a soap dispenser in the shower that they offer for bathing needs. There's no free breakfast , no free coffee,no free ice. No microwave, no fridge. Unless you get a more expensive room. The water pressure was good, hot water, AC worked great, the people were very nice. The hotel is the closest for all your needs for the American consulate matters. The medical exam place is right outside the front door steps away but costly 400-500 US dollars. If you have your shot records bring them because if you don't they'll give you all the shots And that makes it more expensive. It's very expensive at the hotel for coffee is 25 pesos = 2.50 , 12 oz can of coke 2.50 , bottle of water was 3.00 a small bag of ice cost 1.00 and they give you no ice bucket so bring your own little cooler. Food is real expensive here at the hotel but there's a Wendy's , Denny's , star bucks and A mall all in walking distance. If you have kids Bring your own snacks because it gets expensive eating out. so needless to say we took taxi to Walmart to buy our drinking & snacking needs The finger print place doesn't allow any cigarettes no lighter no cell phones. They make throw it all away or you can take it back to your hotel room. They make you take your cell phone totally apart even pulling your battery out. So I don't know how they handle the iPhones. So I recommend leave everything at hotel just take the paper work. I've left my iPhone my iPad in the room while we were out and everything was secure. There a bunch of young guys that try to take you check your paper work. DONT DO IT!!! Just say you already had them checked already. it easier to say then they just walk away. I never felt in danger or un safe it's kinda of neat how they have things set up here like a little village. The hotel offers taxi to anywhere you need but, at a price of course which is also costly. It cost us 75.00 from airport to the hotel. Everything here cost money, money, money, money, good luck with all your consulate matters.

My husband and I stayed here for over a week. Its nice but small. Great for 2 ppl but not for more. The staff was friendly and helpful. If you are going for consular processing, its a good place to stay. Everything is in walking distance. The mall is also close by! I would stay here again. I just wished they would've had a fridge and a microwave in the rooms, to at least help us tourist save a little money on food. But oh well over all a good experience!

Horrible service! Rooms are so crappy, they look nice but then you go to the bathroom and it stinks! heater does not work, and if you plan to stay check yer shampoo dispenser! Mine didn't work even after we call to complain. The worst is the food at the bar. They're so limited on what they have and is microwaveable food! Oh and on the little menu that they give you on the rooms they only offer like 3 things out of there. And they rest they "put it there bc other restaurant has it" (ex. Burritos) some staff is very friendly while others could give a crap about you. Definitely not worth it. Can't wait to leave this hole!

My husband, our 8 mo daughter and I stayed in this hotel for 1 week. When we checked in I mentioned to the front desk that I reserved a crib in my reservation. I was told if I wanted a crib there was a $1000 pesos refundable deposit. Really? For a crib? We thought that it was ridiculous and didn't have an extra $1000 pesos to be unavailable for a week, so we had to share the queen size bed with our baby. They use a room key operated elevator, which, has some benefits. The room was small, but still comfy, until I reached the bathroom. It's a good size and modern, but our floor had pieces of trash and hair all over the floor. Despite that we stayed. Our 2nd night was freezing cold and we decided to turn the heat on and to our surprise it did not work. Staff was nice enough to move us to another room due to the inconvenience. We ate dinner at the restaurant in the hotel and found that its expensive for the quality of food given. We got house keeping to clean the room while we were out, but could never figure as to why they thought taking dirty towels and not replacing them at all was ok. We ended up having to go to front desk every time we needed something. almost all of staff was friendly and helpful with the exception of one girl who seemed to look at everyone like they were stupid and she was bored. BEWARE of taxi prices! Hotel has price list, get a taxi from hotel otherwise you'll pay at least $30-$40 pesos more just walking a block away from hotel. All and all hotel was in a very good location for consulate affairs, beds were quite comfy. For the price we paid it was acceptable.
