Awesome experience, good treatment. Safe place and a thoughtful arrangement of vessels for cooking inside the Suite. Thank you Staybridge for making my stay in Monterrey memorable. I will come back again :)

This was a decent place to stay when visiting Monterrey. The neighborhood is safe and right adjacent to a beautiful trail to walk and run. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The rooms are large and rather clean. Try staying on the Pool Side as the Parking side can get a bit noisy from neighbors behind it. A dog constantly barked during our visit.
The Breakfast was good and the early evening appetizers, though will not replace a dinner, will get you by til dinner time.
Wifi was a bit spotty and only available at some corners of the room, but it was free.

We stayed 4 nights here and loved it. We had a 2 bedroom suite - very well-organised, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a lounge/kitchen/dining area. There was a free and easily accessible washing machine, drier, computer and pool (which we didn't use as it was winter). The breakfast selection was not huge but served in a spacious room with a view out to the pool area. We found the hotel to be quiet and the staff to be very accommodating about calling taxis, helping with any little problems etc. We would definately recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Room Tip: Our ground floor suite was very good but faced a wall. I wonder if there are suites on higher (ther...

What makes long-term lodging "work" for anyone are the amenities. In the case of Staybridge Suites, there are many of them, and together they provide the kind of comfort and convenience likely to ensure return visits. Here are a few of the things I appreciated during a six-week stay.

1. PUBLIC AREAS are spacious, well-designed, comfortable, and right now very nicely decorated for the holidays. There's a huge stone fireplace, with plush seating directly in front for informal gatherings. A giant flat-screen TV is visible from both the comfy chairs near the fireplace and the tables in the adjoining breakfast area.

2. COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST BUFFET features a good assortment of foods, both hot and cold. On a typical day, you'll find several kinds of fresh-sliced melons, fresh-made scrambled eggs, ham and assorted cheeses including excellent cottage cheese, varied cereals, breads, pastries, and granola, hardboiled eggs, several flavors of yogurt, and a good selection of fresh juices. There are also apples, oranges and bananas on hand, and the usual coffee and teas. The friendly and efficient staff constantly monitor and refresh the food to ensure that it is tip-top.

3. "SOCIAL HOUR" every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30 PM featuring complimentary light dishes on a varied monthly menu affixed to each apartment's refrigerator for easy reference. One day, it was BBQ chicken quesadillas and salads. Another day featured chicken wings and salads. Still other days offered egg rolls, tortilla soup and Italian pasta, all with a selection of salads. The food is good and plentiful, with a nice opportunity to socialize at the end of the work day.

4. COMPLIMENTARY GUEST LAUNDRY on every floor, each with 2 "up and down" washer and dryer units, all clean, new and efficient. Laundry detergent is on hand free of charge. These are NOT coin-operated machines. They really are "complimentary."

5. 24/7 CONVENIENCE PANTRY adjacent to the front desk, offering snacks, drinks, toiletries, and things you may have forgotten.

6. WELL-DESIGNED, ATTRACTIVE SUITES, conveniently organized for work and/or leisure. Good storage space, with an in-suite safe. Large windows that open, if you like; good AC and heating system. Our suite featured a king-sized bed with a good mattress and comfortable, attractive linens, lots of room for hanging and folded clothing, and a flat-screen TV; living room had a plush sofa and chair, cocktail and end tables, work area with a small desk and a comfortable office chair on wheels, good lighting, a flat-screen TV and a breakfast/dinner table with 3 chairs; and bright kitchen with refrigerator, dishwasher, large microwave, two-burner stovetop, 4 pieces each of dishes, glasses (including wine glasses), utensils, an assortment of pots and pans, and a coffeemaker with complimentary coffee, tea and popcorn replenished daily. There was both a bathroom and a vanity area immediately outside, with lots of counter and storage space. The toiletries provided were very nice "natural" type products, easy on the hair and skin. Good hair dryer, too.

7. GREAT LOCATION, right across from the tree-lined "Vitapista" walking/running paths that crisscross the commercial area and make getting around cool and pleasant; and just a block away from "Rio Mississippi" street with its varied, inexpensive shops, cafes and restaurants. Try "El Rincon del Taco" just a short walk down Mississippi from the hotel. Fun, friendly and fast. There are quite a few take-out places, too, and an Office Depot a bit further along if you need work supplies. Higher end establishments line the Calz. del Valle and the Calz. de San Pedro and are also walkable from the hotel.

8. FRIENDLY, HELPFUL STAFF who go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. The chief housekeeper is always on top of things, and I have never seen such thorough cleaning by a housekeeping staff anywhere. All who work here are solicitous of your needs and will do whatever is required to make your stay more pleasant.

9. NICE POOL AND PATIO, plus exercise room with treadmill, universal gym, good for hot or rainy days.

I don't know if I will ever return to Monterrey, but if I do, I certainly will stay here again. I recommend it highly. Check out the pictures I've attached.

From the moment you arrive at the front desk and are cheerfully greeted by Claudia or Sergio, you know you have a selected the right place to stay. The Lobby, Big Screen TV, and fireplace adjacent to the lobby, and overall design, make you feel welcome.

The rooms are well furnished and up to date as are the facilities. Free high speed wi fi, free parking, and a very nice environment to do business.

They also offer a very nice continental breakfast with "fresh" fruit, "fresh" squeezed orange juice, great coffee, pastries, eggs, donuts (for those that do not count calories), assorted breads, eggs, waffles, cereal, yogurt etc.

Beds are very comfortable, AC/Heating is quiet, rooms are quiet, and it was just a nice place to stay. Centrally located in San Pedro, it is minutes to wherever you need to go in that area, and about 40 minutes from the airport.

Would not hesitate to stay there again on my next visit to Monterrey.

Staybridge Suites is a very good hotel, it has an excellent service, the staff is friendly and it's location is priceless. It has good snacks, also you have a kitchen on your room. There is a swimming pool and there is a little store for snacks. Had a great stay.

Yesterday Wednesday Oct. 1 around 8:45 pm. I had an emergency and I had to go find a room without a reservation at the Staybridge Suites.
I have stayed here before more than several times and I had never been disappointed until yesterday.
Hotel managment should know that to stay at the top, they need to offer top of the line customer service BUT this was not the case yesterday.
I needed only one room but the gentleman at the front desk told me that they only had the two bedroom suite available.

Now here is what puzzles me the most and why I decided to go ahead and write this review.

I have been offered this 2 bedroom suite before and they kindly shut the door that connects the rooms and I only stayed in one room and they partially charged me for it. That worked GREAT (last time) but this time around (2 months later) I was told they did not offer that and the hotel owner (according to front desk) would rather leave the room EMPTY for that night instead of keeping returning customers happy.

So thanks for not helping me out in this one instance I did not have a reservation and you had a room available which you have previously allowed me to stay in.

I rated this hotel according to my customer service experience, BUT the rooms are really clean and they have great breakfast. So I cant complain about that !
