El Muelle 17 is perhaps the best fish-food restaurant in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, or so say my relatives here. From my own experience yesterday, I probably agree. I sampled several of its appetizers, like "taco al pastor de pescado" (fish taco), "taco de marlin" (another type of fish taco but probably smoked and much tastier), and "tostada de atún" (raw tuna fish). I also had a "filete de pescado a la parrilla" or grilled fish fillet. The latter came with nopales, a ubiquitous and tasty Mexican cactus, and rice or baked potato. I'd go with the rice, which was great tasting. The appetizers were great, but my top two were the marlin taco and, especially, the tuna tostada. The latter was so good I had to have another one. To cap it all up, the banana cake was good (although too much Philadelphia cream and too little banana for my taste). But make no mistake: stick to the fish dishes and you can hardly go wrong.
