It's behind the Zocalo in old town, and Zocalo itself is an attraction for tourists to visit although I didn't find it that impressive. The cathedral is uniquely designed and I noticed the Houston Intercontinental airport (IAH) uses it as the landmark representing Acapulco. Took us 5 mins in the out, just snapped some photos.
