We took the $50 peso ride from the hotel to La Quebrada. We paid the entrance fee ($40
Pesos) and then the show was over in 5 dives. Very cool in form and strength, but short program, no music, no "show". Not sure it was worth the trip up the mtn. We did enjoy the sunset there

Always great to see the cliff divers. Lots of vendors down there. Best place to watch the divers from is the Mirador restaurant.

Make sure if you visit Acapulco to go to La Quebrada and see the cliff divers! This is an incredible must see show! Go all the way down the stairs and pay the $4 per person to watch from the facing cliff side - it is more than worth it!

The Cliff divers from "La Quebrada" have been performing this show for 80 years. Initially pure daredevils. The tradition has evolved into a school of divers with close to 70 participants and daily shows. They dive from a height of a 8 story building into a tidal pool of only 12 feet deep that swells and shrinks wave after wave. So, they must swim across to reach the cliff braving strong currents. Then, they need to get out of the water to start climbing the rocks avoiding being smashed or pushed suddenly by the fierce waves. Then, climbing barefoot all the way to the top. Finally, the dive with some flips, avoiding a free fall into the rocks and coinciding with a swell to avoid a dive straight to the bottom. Fascinating. There are shows every day. I recommend paying the 110 pesos to seat at the terrace of the Hotel El mirador. They will give you a free drink and you will avoid the crowds. Shows are every hour from 6 to 10:30 P.M. At night the dive is with torches.

Brilliant seeing these daredevils dive from The cliffs. The rocks are craggy and the swell from the sea gets huge
It is an amazing sight, you have to see it to believe it! We went during the day and also in the evening when they dive with torches.
The divers will pose for photos with you afterwards, be sure to tip them!
A must see definitely
