Another trip back to the beach and La Posada for the holiday. It was great to return to this wonderful place and find again; nice clean room, great food, and excellent service.
The staff (most of them there for years) went out of their way to provide anything the guests needed – I know because I helped translate some requests; most of the staff is bilingual, at that moment one was not. La Posada is located in an newly refurbished area with new sidewalks, road and landscaping, the bus stop to town is still right across the street. Great value and quality experience.

Room Tip: whatever your needs - just ask, they have many options

This was our 9th year at LaPosada. We started with just 2 weeks and have increased our stay to a minimum of 4 weeks. It is nice to be met by a staff welcoming committee including the hotel cat when we arrive. The owners are in the process of upgrading the rooms. Most now are air conditioned. There are a few small refrigerators available to be placed in your room in case you need to store meds, etc. There is a small studio available that has a kitchenette, a larger studio type apartment with a sitting area, larger kitchen & bath, much more storage and a balcony overlooking the bay. If you are traveling with family, you might want to consider renting the 2 bed, 2 bath house attached to the hotel. It offers access to the pool and beach. We can't say enough good things about this hotel. Although most of the staff do not speak english you can usually communicate with hand signals, etc. Since we are in their country we are trying to learn the language just as we would try to learn french for a visit to Paris or italian for a visit to Rome. This small bed and breakfast is not for everyone, particularly those who like high rises, lots of steps, crowds, and a fight for a chair around the swimming pool. If you want peace, quiet, lots of sun, uncrowded walks on the beach, a caring staff that treats you as if you were their mom or best friend then LaPosada is for you. Perhaps we will see you there Nov. 2013. We have already made arrangements for the apartment.

Room Tip: Room 6 is closest to the ocean and has a great view, ground floor. Room 14 also has a great view and its own little patio on the ground floor. Room 25, above 14, is a little larger that most of the rooms and has a great view of the bay from its balcony.

We have been coming to the Pink Posada for many years and each time
it has been a great experience. The location of the hotel is great- the evening view of the Manzanillo bay, downtown Manzanillo and the open sea are a delight to any romantic. Plus, from the open bar/restaurant one can observe a sunset like no other we have ever experienced.. The hotel is located in a quiet and safe surrounding with
other hotels and restaurants near by...Manzanillo is a safe haven and we have never
felt fearful to just explore the bay or to take day trips along the coast while visiting the
Pink Posada. All in all, its a place to relax and enjoy the feeling of MEXICO.

I come here every November for a 2 week vacation to Hotel La Posada In Manzanillo, Colima Mexico. I have been here and done that so I can come here and relax. This is what a real vacation is. Relaxation with sun, warmth, pool and a very warm ocean. The state of Mexico is very safe and coastal town of Manzanillo is where all kinds of Americans come to relax. Canadian, USA and mexicans. It is not a touriust town and has the largest port in Mexico.

We found La Poasada by chance, but it turned out to be the best place to stay in Manzanillo.
Las Brisas is a quiet location away from the usual tourist tat.The street is wide and quiet.
A very safe and freindly area with local bars and restaurants. Buses and taxis are outside and both are cheap to go to the main town centre. The staff are great and freindly, the breakfast is abundant and the rooms spotless and comfortable. This is not a tourist 5 star resort but cannot be beaten for value and location.
The checkout was 1 pm and seamless we arrived at 10 in the morning and were able to leave our luggage for the short wait while the very accomodating staff readied our room.
I would recommend la posada to anyone looking for a layed back and relaxing stay on the beach in Manzanillo.

Room Tip: We stayed on the first floor and had a small kitchen
