We flew in from San Antonio for the first trip to Manzanillo. We couldn't have had a more enjoyable stay at this hotel. We were upgraded to the two bedroom suite where our large balcony looked out over the water. It was cleaned maticulously every day we were there. The hotel is older and there were a few problems with our room, ie scorpion on the floor and ants coming out of the wall, but we still had a great time and will return to
Dolphin Cove. Be aware that there are 85 stairs from the first floor to the restaurant but it was well worth it.

Dolphin Cove is a wonderful spot, fantastic views. We actually saw whales in the bay from our balconey! The service was great and you can't beat the price. The food was good, the lunch menu was a little weak but breakfast and dinner were great, no complaints. The only drawback to Dolphin Cove is the stairs! Being nestled into a cliff, there is a lot of up and down, particularly if your room is at the top (street level) and you're going to the pool/restaurant (beach level). The plus is you get a workout! Pool was clean as were the general grounds.

This was our 1st trip to Manzanillo and we LOVED the location of Dolphin Cove. All rooms have ocean view. Staff was very friendly. Restaurant had great food and excellent value. We would definitely stay here again. Short walk to Las Hadas and 3 other restaurants. The music at nearby Karmina Palace was loud a couple of nights (late) - the only drawback. Note there are a LOT of stairs. Wasn't a problem for us but those who have any problems with stairs or climbing would definitely find some of the rooms a challenge from pool/restaurant level.

My boyfriend had visited Dolphin Cove Inn with friends and when I saw the pictures and heard how much fun they had, I wanted to go and he didn't argue about going back. We visited the hotel during spring break and just before Easter so we were warned that it would be really busy. Even though Dolphin Cove and the resort next to it (Las Hadas) were booked solid, we had no problem with crowds. This was my first trip to Mexico and it was a wonderful introduction. Manzanillo is a quiet city in Colima state however we never tired of things to do and places to visit. Our suite at Dolphin Cove was clean, well laid out and had a good sized terrace with table and chairs and lounge chairs. The restaurant is good for all meals (food is good and prices are reasonable) and had breadkfast, lunch and dinner there several times and were never let down. For those who wish to experience the restaurants within Manzanillo itself, they are only a short cab ride away. The hotel offers different excursions that they will book for you and I would highly recommend the Colima Tour which offered a lot more than just a tour of the city of Colima. Overall, this trip was a wonderful introduction to Mexico for me and Dolphin Cove Inn was a great place to call home during our vacation.

Dolphin Cove Inn is a special property tucked between two mega resorts on either end of the beach. It offers couples or families an opportunity to enjoy a restful beach vacation without all of the crowds and noise typically found at large resorts. Their restaurant and poolside service is terrific -- lots of fresh fish, vegetables, fruit, plus a good variety of local Mexican dishes. Don't forget to try their blackberry margarita -- delicious!

The amazing views from the terrace of each room, the friendly and accommodating staff, and the gorgeous setting complete with an abundance of bougainvillea are not to be missed!

This is a piece of paradise that is both affordable and enjoyable for all!

Our family just returned from a very enjoyable spring break trip to the Dolphin Cove Inn. Every aspect of our vacation was perfect. We loved our room. The views from the balcony were incredible. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The food and margaritas were fabulous. Our kids had a blast at the pool and beach. We could not have asked for better weather. The Dolphin Cove Inn has so much more charm compared to the larger resorts. We had a very relaxing trip. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful spot to relax and look at the beautiful views. The beach is small but swimmable.
The restaurant has a great view, food and value. The concierge and desk staff are very helpful.
