Our meal was enjoyed on a Monday night, and we had the place to ourselves. No music, only an amazing sunset against a cloud-streaked sky over the Pacific waters, just feet away. Our server was real friendly and patient when we had to reconsider our choice due what was available that night. The ceviche was spilt, and it was a nice way to start. The crab was very sweet. Also ordered was a tuna burger, which was amazing. I was happy to see that the bun was brushed with butter and grilled on the underside. That does just wonders for any burger. The other dish was a fish fillet served with a cilantro sauce. Without the sauce the fish would have been tasty enough, for it had a slightly smoked flavor. I stress slightly. Neither sauce flavor nor smoke flavor bullied the other. It was just perfect. We were so pleased by the value. Who can complain with a waterfront seafood restaurant with plates for 90 pesos, or $7 ? We passed this place a few times in the space of 4 days and it always looked to be more expensive, for it shares some prime space with a few mid range hotels and some pricier food establishments. We found that everything came together for a wonderful meal at a very fair price. The jaw-dropping sunset and the lack of annoying entertainment made it all even better.
