this resort was berry outdated and the pool was not keep clean and or in good swimming conditions. access to the beach was perfect, and the location was also perfect. But the resort was not, the resort staff was not friendly at all, and some instances wore even rude to other family members not staying at the resort whit me.

Hotel is located on the beach. The building is older, but everything was in good condition. Our room had a balcony with ocean view and a kitchenette. Later in the week we switched to a smaller room that cost less but did not have a balcony or a kitchenette. The hotel restaurant has a great breakfast menu and overlooks the ocean with both indoor and outdoor seating. The pool area has a bar with happy hour pricing and the nicest lady who works there as a waitress. She was there everyday and made us feel very welcome and happy to be there. They have a drink at the pool bar that we liked called a Monkey Brown.... It was really good. Happy hour is 2 for 1 drink price, and happy hour nachos with steak were what we ordered to go with our drinks everyday. The pool was large and looked very nice but we didn't use it so I don't know if it was heated. I can't remember if there was a hot tub. The beach is accessible by walking down a few steps, and there were tourists taking turns parasailing over the water one at a time. We also watched an entire group of tourists on stand up paddle boards swim from the hotel to the small island that sits directly across from the hotel. We liked everything about this hotel and enjoyed the time we spent there.

This Hotel is family owned and has old Mazatlan charm. It is located on the best stretch of beach and is close to many great eating places and stores . You only need to step outside it’s lobby to enjoy the vibe of Mazatlan

Being that it is Carnival in Mazatlán there are no rooms in decent hotels or I would have moved. First night I was here wife and I took a shower the floor drain stopped up and water covered floor of my room and ran into hallway. Hotel moved us. Rooms are not as clean as when I stayed 18 months ago. Constantly having to get towels or washcloths brought to room. Also if you get currency exchange at hotel or anywhere in Mexico watch the pesos you receive. Got a $500 peso note that is no longer in circulation. Didn’t know about this fact until now. Hotel would not exchange the note for me. Amounts to about $27 American dollars but at hotel knew she was handing a bad bill.
