Can stay in a villa, as a hotel guest or timeshare owner and partake of all ammenities. All buildings except villas are 4-story with ocean views with higher floors having better ocean views. Multiple "party"/activity pools, swim up bars, hot tubs as well as quieter pools and streams with black swans and flamingos. Daily planned activities for kiddies and adults. Private beach, no vendors but rocky and with strong surf. Preferred deli food and poolside meals to restaurant. Have never done all inclusive. There is a free shuttle toPuebloBonito's in-town sister hotel with beachside restaurant + beach vendors which can be kinda fun expecially if you like silver jewelery or beach wear. Some vendors will even custom make sun/fun wear for you. Concierge available to help you plan local day trips. If you don't deal in illegal drugs you have nothing to worry about visiting Mazatlan, but if you are faint of heart, be assured the resort is a gated community. We visit often.

Room Tip: Higher rooms always better ocean view. Activity pool more noisy. Many "perks" offered if...

My wife and I just returned from a week at PBEB that we shared with some friends. We had adjoining master suites. We are owners, are friends are not. We had great time and the place hasn't changed a bit. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous! The service is incredible. My friend ordered a mojito, when they said they didn't have fresh mint he changed his mind. They went and got fresh mint! The food is still very average and a bit over priced. We prefer to eat at more authentic places so we went to town quite a bit. Over all I would recommend this place to anyone. Can't wait to go back!!

Pueblo Bonito at Emerald Bay was amazing! Everyone was wonderfully helpful and friendly from the moment we arrived. The villa was immaculately clean and the fresh flowers were a beautiful touch. The food was delicious and the grounds and pools were beautiful and very relaxing. We highly recommend Edwardo's City Tour. It was only $12 and he takes you all over the city. He has a great sense of humor and is full of wonderful information. We will absolutely return to this beautiful resort and city!

PS: We spent 13 days in Mazatlan and never once felt unsafe, even when we left the city and drove into the countryside.

Just came back from a week at PBEB. Had been there before but had done a lot of traveling in the area. This time we went back to just enjoy the resort. AND WE DID! Can't say enough about this resort, one of the best we have stayed at in Mexico. Very attentive and friendly staff, great service, and great food. Since we were going to basically just stay at the resort, we did the all inclusive thing. Would not do that unless planned on just enjoying the resort as dining outside and taking in some groceries would be a lot cheaper. Just remember to get online and make shuttle reservations at least 72 hours before you get there. Also, we like Mazatlan and think it has had BAD PRESS regarding violence and etc.

We recently returned from a week at PBEB with our two young daughters and we had an amazing time. The pools were wonderful, the food at the resort was fabulous and it is just great place to relax. The hotel staff, especially Roberto, worked with us in advance to have our rooms ready to go and Belinda, on the activities staff, was absolutely amazing with our kids. Our girls were begging to go back to the kids club to do more art projects.

Our girls enjoyed many of the poolside activiites such as spanish class, making bracelets and painting pottery. I enjoyed the spa a couple of times, as well as the great onsite gym. We all went all over Mazatlan including the cliff divers, the Friday art walk, the plaza, etc. We felt very safe at all times. We loved the trip and can't wait to go back.

This expansive and lavish resort felt more like walking through a tropical jungle than a simple resort. Waterfalls, exotic birds, and miles of greenscaped walkways made my morning strolls amazing. My husband and I would just walk around each morning before heading to the wonderful restaurants for breakfast.

A must is to have the ceviche by the pool. My family also painted ceramics a few times. Yes my late 20s to early 30s brothers and their significant others had a blast with the resorts daily actividads.

We learned to late that each of the many bars has a happy hour at different time of the day. so you can have a happy DAY vs Hour!
