Attentive staff, many that speak English. The menu includes Italian favorites and pizzas. Outdoor tables (extending on the the street on Thursday thru Sunday plus a fair bit of interior space as well.

“Terrible food and overpriced wine”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 March 2013

We went here last night based on reviews on Tripadvisor and an acquaintance.
Very disappointed. Service is fine.
I had read they had a fine wine list, 75% of it was unavailable and it was the most expensive wine we have seen in Mazatlan.
But the worst of it was my Fettuccine Alfredo. The noodles were drowning in a thick pasty sauce that resembled something from a can. There was no hint of garlic or cheese.
My husband had the spaghetti and meatballs which he rated as fair. The spaghetti was swimming in a soupy sauce.
the restaurant had few diners but when we stepped out into the plaza we noticed that all the other restaurants were packed with diners, obviously they knew something that we didn't.
We will be trying one of the other restaurants tonight!

“Pretty good pasta”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 February 2013

At here a couple of times - it was cool so I ate inside but on a nice evening the outdoor seating would have a great view of all the action and activities on Plaza Machado. I had a puntanesca and a lasagne - the puntanesca was excellent, the lasagne was OK. The service was very good, the atmosphere, in an old building right on the plaza was very nice. The wine list was OK and everything was reasonably priced. I would recommend this for atmosphere, service and a pasta fix.

“Pasta Fix”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 January 2013

When you need a pasta fix head here at the end of the Plaza Machado. Large portions, flavourful and the service is great. I highly recommend the Spaghetti Bolognese. You can take you left overs home and it was even better the next day! Cash only.

“excellent pizza and pasta”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 March 2012

Very well decorated and finished Italian restaurant. The gnocci, pasta and pizzas were great. There were also other seafood and meat specials that looked good but we did not try them.
Wine prices a bit high. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant.
