Macaws Bistro is situated in the Casa de Leyendas B&B and is definitely a draw for all the snow birds that live in that end of town as my wife and I were the only non-retirees in the place when we visited on a Friday morning. The restaurant was about the busiest we were in all week and unfortunately the one waitress on duty was scrambling to keep up. We waited quite a while before getting menus, then water, then our order taken, then our food, our bill... My wife went with the CDL Breakfast Tortilla and I went with the Breakfast Club which were both reasonably priced at $65MX, but pretty small portions. They resembled the kind of portions you'd see on a senior's menu at most American restaurants which may or may not be coincidental given the average clientele. The food itself was average and seemed pretty Americanized in flavour. The location is really nice and the B&B looked lovely but the restaurant itself just wasn't that exceptional for us.
